I despise both parties and think of them as nothing more than puppers of the same plutocratic hand, personally. Understandably, I am an Independent and wonder why there aren't more of us.

There are not more independents because people do not agree in thinking for themselves and not being led around by their noses. The people of this country need to feel babied, and both parties do this for them.

There will come a time in the near future when people will grow tired of both parties and vote both out of office. We have been long over due for a more competitive 3rd party in this country. Someone who actually has the best interests of the country and its citizens in mind, and not just to line their pockets with golden pocket lint.

I could leave if there were another party that better reflected what I believed and had a chance of actually doing something about it.

I used to think that till I got on Answers. I'd have to say that I am a more loyal Republican now than I was before.
