they risk their lives all the time by crossing the boarder!!! is mexico that bad? is there something we can do to help them? mexico is getting emptier every day!!

Mmmmm not me. I am Mexican and I stayed in Mexico and I would never become US citizen. I have the chance but I don't want to.
Not all people want to cross border and Mexico is not empty as you think. Some brave people stayed here to fight. We prefered to stay and fight for our country than running away just because things are bad.
The people who leave Mexico is because someone sold them the "American dream" which is a lie for me . Most of them go because they lost hopes .
The way US could help to Mexico is stopping of get in Mexico's bussiness and take away some embargos which represent a damage for Mexico's economy. The way US people could help to rest of Wold is opening the eyes and see there are an OUTSIDE WORLD besides US.

No, the vast majority of them have no interest whatsoever in becoming legal US citizens. They just want the money they can earn and all the freebies and social benefits. I know this for a fact.
It is only arrogant US citizens who think that ALL illegals are risking their lives crossing over the border, trekking through the dessert, etc., etc. because they ALL want that elusive treasure at the end of the rainbow - US CITIZENSHIP! No, they really do NOT want citizenship. Most of them plan to work until they have provided themselves with a nice little retirement nest egg and then they plan on returning home to live comfortably.
In fact, most of them do not even want amnesty! They do NOT want to be legalized in their residency status in the US because they do NOT want to have to pay taxes and they want to be able to continue to get all the social benefits and freebies that they currently manage to get.
The only ones who have decided they DO want citizenship are those who have, since coming to the USA, become involved in a romantic relationship and/or have had children here. Then, they decide they want to stay and be legal. But, their original intent when they come here is that they will eventually return home to live comfortably on their US $ nest egg.

This land was built on dreams, Not just for you, but for all nationalities. So if a Mexican wants to come over and become a LEGAL!! citizen who are we to send them back. Yes they're lives in Mexico suck, that's why they come here. How would you like to live in a land where the government does nothing to help it,s people?. They would rather support the drug lords so they can supply your *** with drugs than help the economy in their country.

According to the PEW hispanic research center over 60% of mexicans want to come to America but the vast majority of those do not want to become Americans, or assimilate and they do not care about amnesty.

Yes, because of the living conditions of extreme poverty there. The US should buy Mexico or better yet take it over!End of border problems.

I don't know....they kill themselves in the sand to come over here for the free ride but when they get here, they act like thugs and dumbasses. It's hard to feel sorry for them, isn't it?
In answer to your question, I don't think they have any desire to be Americans but they do want America and all of her free free free handouts.

no they don't, if they fly their flag over the american flag, they do not want to be an american and they should go home and fight to make their country better. it is possible, we did a long time ago.
