America is big enough for all those that want to come here, so why are we so mean? They contribute to the economy anyway.

I don't believe that the native Americans, henceforth called Indians had laws that we violated. In order for an action to be illegal, there must be a law prohibiting it. The Indians, as disorganized as they were, simply didn't possess such legal institutions.
As far as Mexican lands, let bygones, be bygones. Can we really right every wrong of the past? No.
As far as the room - yes we have all the room. It's the jobs that they take at pitiful wages that I have a problem with. Without the Mexican invasion, the natural American wage would be much higher because American labor would be much more scarce - the primary determinant of value.

Bro or Hollio open a history book.
No more room here. It goes further than you understand with open border terrorist come to mind. They really dont help economy cause most paid in cash. They put a drain on health care they think it is free and abuse it. They all crowd into WalMart on sunday making line very long. Just yesterday an illegal immigrant in Florida ran down and killed a police officer.
They bring in drugs eat all the tacos and 14 will carpool in a miny van. And hardly know English
Do I need to keep going?

Sounds good to me, but only if they do it legally.

By the way, Mexico signed over Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, and Wyoming, as well as the whole of California, Nevada, and Utah in the Treaty of Guadalupe. The remaining parts of what are today the states of Arizona and New Mexico were later ceded under the Gadsden Purchase in 1853. All of that land was taken legally.

First of all, there is no legality in war, especially wars that took place before the Geneva convention, so your argument that "we took their land illegally" is about as valid as saying that Alexander took the land of the Persians illegally, or that the Mycenaeans took the land of the Trojans illegally, or the French people presently living in France took the land of the Celts illegally, and so on and so on and so on and so on and so on and so on and so on and so on.

Secondly, this isn't about Mexican immigrants and for you to make it about them is racist. This is about ILLEGAL immigrants. There are MANY LEGAL Mexican immigrants. There are MANY, MANY, MANY illegal immigrants who are not Mexican. How is it mean to want to give a chance to the poor African immigrant who can't even get a visa interview because there are no jobs for him to fill because of all the people filling the jobs ILLEGALLY? How is it mean to want to see LEGAL immigrants and citizens have those jobs and be paid LEGAL wages? How is it mean to want to stop the exploitation that occurs when illegal immigrants work in our country.

Also, PLEASE give me an account of how illegal immigration contributes more to the economy than it takes away. I'm sure the economists in the UK, France, Spain, Germany, Australia, and the US would love to hear your thoughts. So far, ALL of them have decided illegal immigration HARMS their economies, but I'm sure you know more than they do.

Sure, if they're here legally, no problem ..... but we did not take this land illegally!!! Several other posters have put you right on that one! I'd shake hand with any legal immigrant, illegal ones should go home ... and fill in the paperwork like everybody else has had to do ....

After the mexican american war the US PAID for the lands it took, and then later PAID for more lands. We didn't take anything illegally.
And since you know the word ILLEGAL then you must understand why it's wrong to be an ILLEGAL immigrant.
When you lose your job to an illegal,or they steal from you or worse, how will you feel?

Wrong. What you can do is give up your citizenship if you are a citizen and live under their rules.

How fast you would give up your freedoms amazes me! You deserve to lose them to a socialist or facist foriegn national force.

And if you don't know what I'm talking about DO YOUR OWN DAMN HOMEWORK.

Not everyone feels the way you do. I certainly don't. We are not being "mean" because we want ALL LAWS enforced, not just some laws.
