The past few months I've had a woodpecker attacking my wood siding on my house waking me around 5am every morning. After about 6 straight weeks of early wake up calls I finally got smart and sided my house with vinyl siding, problem solved... or so I thought. He soon began pecking the one and only tree in my yard, so of course I cut it down. Here comes the big problem. Now when I leave my home, the woodpecker swarms me and pecks at my head and I can't make him stop. Because of a rare abnormality, my head is made of red oak. I refuse to cut my head off, because if I do the woodpecker wins. What should I do? Please help.

Parkland Hospital in Dallas Texas delivers over 70% of its babies to illegals. not only does it deliver them as the law requires, but it also gives free prenatal care which is not required. One other oddity is that it treats the mother afterwards which is defienelty not required. Although this county funded hospitals pays for illegals, it will not pay for american citizens who dont live in the county. JPS health network who is the fort worth county hospital is now considering giving practically free care to illegals beyond what is require by law...but if you go into their ER for a heart attack, there wait time is over 2 hours just to get triaged by the nurse.

I am watching a video about General Eisenhower, starring Tom Selleck. it is very good. Everything I've ever read abou General Eisenhower makes me think he was a great military leader, with honor, guts, compassion and diplomacy. Does anyone agree with me? Maybe you admire someone else...who?

My daughter signed a one year lease (as typed in on the top of the lease) on Sept 1, 2005. Sometime in June she received a notice saying her lease was up on July 31, 2006. Upon calling the rental company and explaining that she needed to be there until the end of August (the end of the 1 year), she was told she would have to sign another 1 year lease as the first lease was dated to end on 7/31/2006 (hand written in). Does the hand written date override the typed lease terms?

Can anyone whose in weapons research tell me if we're any closer to 'electromagnetic shield' type technology yet? Wern't the US supposed to be building the Star Wars programme to intercept inbound ICBMS? I mean if you can stick a shield up around your country - then it doesn't matter how many jehads you have declared on you - you can turn around and say yes - ''your grievances are noted'' - and then carry on with the neighbours wife as before. And while I'm about it - what's the truth about the film - The Philadelphia Experiment and the sequel. The films are supposed to be based on a true story aren't they ? Can any spooks out there give me the low down on that particular story - you know the one - make ship radar invisible and end up making ship ACTUALLY invisible. Did they get any further with that technology ? I know the US have a 747 that can shoot a lazer that can knock out ICBMS, but the shield stuff - fact or fiction - or is it just round the corner ?

I have a feeling that if the USA continues to terrorize and kill civilians all over the world (especially in the middle east) and support ISRAEL's war crimes and illegal occupation of PALESTINE the USA and ISRAEL will soon fall.

It's just simple common sense. Read your history books.

A person has a right not to smoke. A person has a right to smoke. Especially if it is a cigar every now and then. I only smoke cigars on evenings Thursday through Sunday. So, these goody to shoe sissy politicians and locals think they are created better since they don't smoke. Especially at a bar in Colorado.
Oh ya, it's the second hand smoke. Then maybe we should outlaw everything else flamable. No buring incense, no campfire, no cars even. Don't even think about telling me that these other types of fire only have carbon dioxide/monoxide in the produced smoke. 99% of materials that can burn have many and I mean many chemicals in them. Wood extracts natural minerals in the soil. Boron for instance. This is not good at all to inhale. It is found in wood. So, better put out the campfires. Maybe we should ban firefighters from putting out forest fires. Too much second hand smoke huh? Too many wusses today.

The Israeli's are big on labels that they apply to their enemies. They say Hezballah hide behind human shields. Many of the posts on this site reiterate the same statements. How many of the posters on this site know this as fact or are just using the statements released by the Israeli press to spread the propaganda that they issue to make Hezballah look like a bunch of cowards?

I am just being a "mom", my daugher leaves 8/16 for Naval bootcamp. Not so much for her, but for me as well....
What will her first day, week, month be for her? I picture the worse case senario: getting screamed at in the face, and her break down, just as they try to do. I told her to do EXACTLY as she is told. What thoughts, advise or actual experiences can you share with me? Thank you!

I love sports, love them. To play that is. I will NEVER, EVER be caught dead at a sports arena, paying hundreds of dollars to watch what otherwise would be welfare pimps if not for them being tall, fast, and strong.

Did you know that there was a guy in Dallas that paid $29K for two tickets to the Mavericks championship game in one of those ticket-scalping web-sites? There was a hitch. He bought the pair for game 7. $29K!!!!!! Now, I don't give a damn really if you want to blow your money like that. That's your business. What is my business is that many of the same people that have no problem blowing that kind of cash bi+ch and moan about paying higher electric bills, property taxes, good wages for teachers and cops, etc.

So the moral of the story is: if you want to blow your money on useless crap like this, more power to you. But don't bi+ch when other bills come due.
