I love sports, love them. To play that is. I will NEVER, EVER be caught dead at a sports arena, paying hundreds of dollars to watch what otherwise would be welfare pimps if not for them being tall, fast, and strong.

Did you know that there was a guy in Dallas that paid $29K for two tickets to the Mavericks championship game in one of those ticket-scalping web-sites? There was a hitch. He bought the pair for game 7. $29K!!!!!! Now, I don't give a damn really if you want to blow your money like that. That's your business. What is my business is that many of the same people that have no problem blowing that kind of cash bi+ch and moan about paying higher electric bills, property taxes, good wages for teachers and cops, etc.

So the moral of the story is: if you want to blow your money on useless crap like this, more power to you. But don't bi+ch when other bills come due.

Sorry, but you lost my interest in your actual question when you put your judgmental blanket statement on athletes by referring to them as "would be welfare pimps".

Never mind the question. Do you know what your what the man depicted in your personal icon is guilty of? He was a terrorist man. Not a good guy. What does that word say? I hope it says "terrorist" or "killer" or "shoot on sight".

For example he used to round men up suspected of being homosexuals and line them up against a wall and blow them away. Is that your kind of hero? He was Fidel Castro's assassin. God only knows how many good people that dirtbag killed.

Commies aren't cool. Find a new hero.

The number to your answer is very large, and the reasons are very many, too much to tell. You do not like the pimps who are tall fast and strong I know, so I think you need first to stop reading Sports Illustrated, after that I dunno...what exactly is your problem?

Sports are popular, not much can be said about that. Competition and violence are pretty much a way of life for most Americans.

I guess you never go to movies or rent videos either.

All those doped-up Hollywood lefties getting millions for portraying screwed-up people in ridiculous situations. Then they want YOU to be FORCED to support their causes.

Why do you have a Che picture as your avatar and ask such questions? You should be asking questions about the situation in Mexico.

If you haven't actually heard that particular guy complaining about his utility bills, then you have nothing to complain about. Do you ? Its sort of like people complaining about the President, when they didn't vote !
