I’m not saying it isn’t cool looking but it does run contrary to common military strategy, that of keeping close to the ground and allowing the terrain to provide some coverage. I mean let’s look at some of the obvious faults to actually having the unit perform ideally in combat (after all the obvious bugs are worked out):

•The legs can be snared.
•I can’t imagine it climbing up at a pitch greater than 15%, in fact it’s highly unlikely that it’ll be able to handle uneven terrain at all.
•It wouldn’t have an easy time operating on terrain that is particularly soft or muddy.
•And it can’t really use any truly heavy artillery because the kickback would knock it over.

I only mention those because I do think this device does have some promising aspects to it and I can see that it still has some obvious design hurtles to overcome for it to even be useful in light combat usage (such as the speed, the use of that grating mesh provides no real protection from bullets or gas attack and the turrets only shoot forward). But personally I can’t see this being used for anything more than possibly a heavy backup for an infantry unit. However once they do manage to get the bugs out I’m sure they’ll have some use for it.

Still I think it's got potential.

Thats interesting....
Being a prototype i would assume that any realistic war machine would be faster and more agile, but i like the added power it gives the to the infantry
It also has a great capability of being a mobile supply base(medical, rations, armor, and weapons).

I think Hezbollah bite off enough to choke on, Israel will not go away without a surrender.

I think I need to sleep, I am getting testy.
