The past few months I've had a woodpecker attacking my wood siding on my house waking me around 5am every morning. After about 6 straight weeks of early wake up calls I finally got smart and sided my house with vinyl siding, problem solved... or so I thought. He soon began pecking the one and only tree in my yard, so of course I cut it down. Here comes the big problem. Now when I leave my home, the woodpecker swarms me and pecks at my head and I can't make him stop. Because of a rare abnormality, my head is made of red oak. I refuse to cut my head off, because if I do the woodpecker wins. What should I do? Please help.

this poultry is after bugs that are the two indoors the siding or under the siding. he will proceed to %.. and make holes indoors the domicile until at last you have it sprayed and the bugs eradicated. The scientific care is expensive although the wear and tear and tear a woodpecker can do will fee lots better to repair as quickly as he gets his fill and leaves. via capability of techniques, he might proceed pecking for months.

Well, it's obviously either a local resident or has sufficient minimum contacts with your house to satisfy jurisdictional requirements.

You could always sue it for damages, under either a trespass or a nuisance theory.

Make a replacement, use plastic for a scull, instead of redwood. Just dont go into the sun or it will cook your brain!

My advise is to have your "pecker" looked at as it seems to have no regard for what hole it hits. If it hits the wrong type of "wood" it could get very sick and limp causing it to need medical attention. So, have the problem taken care of right away.

put on a metal trash can, but be sure to put a couple of eye holes in it or you'll bump into low flying squirrels. :)
