Why do Bush supporters approve of the Patriot Act, domestic spying, torture, and the like? These are all unconstitutional.

(For the record I'm a conservative Christian--hardly a liberal. Sad I have to put this disclaimer here.)

You know, like those countries who elevate their militaries to Godlike status and warship the totalitarian leader?
Or how about H\having the military go through manuevers on the streets of DC for the world to see?
Its already the Might is Right/ Your wih us or against us mentality so whats next?
What an exciting time in America. If you travel to anywhere but England or Israel tell people you are Canadian, its safer for you, because those are the only countries that think were doing a good job... LOL

my friend annoying American posted this one before and i thought it deserves round two since the pro team is having all the fun tonight .
Clearly the PR campaign isn't working like it should and they need some help. I'm thinking some new slogans might be the trick. How about "Let brown work for you...at a much lower standard than everyone else"? Or maybe, "Where's my welfare check, gringo"? No? Hmmm...how about "Remember the Alamo...no wait, FORGET the Alamo!"? What about, "Green card...we don' neet no stinkink' green card!"? Frankly, I like this one, "Say 'allo to my leetle fren, and his 12 million illegal cousins!" Okay, techincally that last one is a rip off of Scarface, but you get the point. What are some of your slogans? Love to see 'em!

I recovered my car and it was repaired. The guy went on a bit of a crime spree after jacking my car committing much more serious crimes. I am not even asking for restitution. There are several other victims. Am I going to have to go before the judge. I am just not sure why I need to go, they have loads of proof that he did in fact steal it. Is it just a techicality that I need to be there. It happened about a year ago, I had to go to the last hearing which lasted all of 5 minutes because he rejected the plea.

I don't understand why our court system has such a long trial, and sometimes the murderer just gets a life sentence. They should be killed right away, as soon as possible.
(And I mean the killers who kill on purpose and it's a proven fact.)

I was discussing the Illegal Immigration Topic with my Aunt.......

She is also Completely against Illegal Immigration.......

When I brought up the Fact that many Latino's cosider themselves to be Mexican(even though their not)On the Internet Blog sites, she Smacked me in the head.........

She considered equating Mexicans to all Latino's an Insult.....

You see, She is from Puerto Rico, and said that comparing her to mexicans, would be the same as comparing American Indians to Indians from India...........

I completely Understand her Point,But I wonder if anyone here does........

Mostly I'm refering to the Air Force but this question is applicable to a branches. I've heard from various people that the best officers come out of ROTC. I've heard that the service looks upon military academy grads as great followers, but not great leaders because they were told exactly what to do for four years and really didn't experience the type of college life that makes you think and grow as an individual, so in other words, they can't really think as well. And lastly I've heard that OTS produces questionable officers because their training is so short. Just wondered what you thought and what might be the best path for me to pursue for my own interests. Thanks!

Mexico has lots of oil and could be beneficial to the United States and create jobs for Mexicans. I don’t understand why we don’t work closer with our neighbor. If Mexicans were able to provide better for their families in Mexico, then there would be less Mexicans crossing the border. AND America benefits too by, depending less on the Middle East. Seems like a Win-Win to me.

that they found no massive destruction weapons and that Iraq’s war had no justification, that they can’t admit that France was right and US was wrong ?

So why are they hating France so much because of US own mistakes? Why are they so rancorous of France not going to a war that themselves now consider as unjustifiable?

It’s your responsibility, not France ones, so how many long will you be rancorous of your own politic mistakes?

I am a Canadian Citizen, who is waiting on a US waiver. ( I had a small theft charge that was dropped, and do not have a criminal record,) but the US still requires me to apply for a waiver.
I am engaged to an American and we wish to marry and live in the States (he has children from a passed marraige) will my waiver affect my plans for applying for my K1 visa, and settling down in the US?

I thank you in advance.

I'm talking about the laws which existed before the "no-fault" divorce laws came in.

I wasn't around at the time, but whenever I read or hear about them, they seem pretty sensible.

What was so wrong with them that they needed changing?
