The world is sick of America's military being all over the world but yet they do nothing. Israel and Lebanon want peacekeepers on the ground in order for a cease-fire to happen but the European's are to scared to join the peacekeeping force. They want things to happen there way but when it comes to force they won't do it even when necessary. In this case it is not even force they will have to use. If the world does not want us to be the police for society then the rest of the world needs to step up or shut up. The rest of the world is to chicken to actually do something so we have to do the dirty work for them. My question is why is the United States hated when the rest of the world will not react and help end this war? How come the Arab world won't go after Europe for the lack of help? It is time for the rest of the world to step up and take some responsibilty and help the United States police everyone. How do you like them apples?

My dad has been really pushing me hard to join either the airforce or army. But I don't want to. After having a huge fight I calm down and think to myself, why I am so strongly against joining either of them.
My dad says that both of them have excellent benefits, they help you buy a house and that you can retire early. He says that after working for so many years ( not in the army or airforce), that he has lots of experience, has seen lots of different jobs and the stress associated with them and is telling us out of experience that its an excellent opportunity. He is 57 years old and says that he would have joined happily if he was eligible to join.
I say, that I would never want to be in a contract with the army or airforce, that its not worth it, especially with the wars going on. My dad says that there is no reason to think that I might be directly involved in a war, and that there would never be a situation where I could be injured or hurt.

This electoral college mess is, to put it simply, stupid. My Democratic family and I live in a red state, and their votes (I'm not old enough to vote) don't count because the majority of the state is voting Republican. So they don't vote. People mention how only a fraction of the population votes, and they start campaigns (such as P. Diddy's rather annoying "VOTE OR DIE") to get people to vote, but why should they if their vote doesn't count? What's the point?
More people voted for American Idol than for the President. Isn't that sad? Every single vote needs to be counted and added up. No electoral college. It may make things simpler, but it is not fair. It may take more time, but at least we'll have a better chance of not ending up with a war-mongering idiot for President (Al Gore would've won...).

As an added bonus deserving immigrants with skills that could benefit the American economy and that follow the law will be buried in paperwork and denied legal entry for years.
•Once in the US illegal immigrants will easily be able to obtain false documents that allow them to work, enroll their children in school, own and transfer real and personal property, vote, receive public assistance and obtain discounted or free medical care.
•Incentives will be provided to employers to hire illegal immigrants. Employers will be allowed to ignore immigration laws, disregard employment verification checks, pay less than prevailing wages and provide absolutely no benefits to illegal immigrants.
•Children of illegal immigrants will be provided free k12 educations and cannot be held back or required to learn English. College tuition will be the in state rate and tuition assistance programs must be made available to them.
•Illegal Immigrants will not be required to pay taxes as many employers prefer to pay wages “under the table” and “in cash.” Additionally “out of country” tax free transfers of money can be sent home as often as you like without government interference. Despite its marvelously inventive plot twists, it is my considered opinion that certain portions of the Bible are simply too ribald for children and no more suitable in a Christian home than a copy of Hustler! ceasefire? The longer this goes on the worse it will be for Israel. Hezbollah has said it will not stop sending missiles into Israel until all Israeli troops are out of Lebanon. Wouldn't a ceasefire at least provide a chance for both sites to negotiate instead of adding to the body count?

1:Prisoners are costing millions of dollers a year to taxpayers. I know people who, although "free" are worse off than prisners. Why do we pay so much to supply prisners with a good life? They get cable tv (I don't even have that!) their own beds, toilets, showers, clothes, roofs, shelters, and so much more! They even have good computers sometimes! They get fed each day, time to chill, time to work, and time to sleep. They are taught skills and allowed some minor freedomes.
