No it's not possible, terrorism is an idea not an army. Therefore how do you destroy it? Haven't been attacked since 9/11? BTW there's this invention called the "explosive", you can send these "explosives" in:

projectiles
shoes
cars
ANYTHING

You can't stop someone from blowing up something. You are acting like there's this big underground army of Allah lovin' terrorists planning to destroy America. This is a lie, and a VERY powerful tool to keep fighting in the middle east. Iran's next! NO WAR IS JUSTIFIED. STOP KIDDING YOURSELF!

You've said it EXACTLY right.

Now we're like a dog chasing its tail with Bush's stupid war.

Some would argue with you that 9/11 occurred because we IGNORED it in the first place. Al Qaeda tried to get our attention through the 90s, Clinton's administration blew it off, and eventually that led to the events of 9/11.

You are naive to think it would have been smart not to invade Afghanistan and take out the Taliban who were providing a safe harbor for terrorism. It was Al Qaeda's main base, and they would have had an easier time organizing another blow to the U.S. had we ignored them again.

The fact that we've taken the fight to their backyard is an important one. You can't destroy what we define as "terrorism", but you can contain it. You CAN reduce its effectiveness.

No, Terrorists are like cock roaches, You kill one and three replace them. And you will never find them all, When you kill one of there leaders, all you do is turn him into a martyr and someone else replaces him. And the U.S. actions around the world are just adding more fuel to the fire, I don't side with the terrorist by any means, BUT all these Rejects want is for us to mind our own business and let them mind our own affairs, is that so hard for us.

Terrorism is an ideal not an army. One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. Take Osma Bin Laden. During the Regan/Bush years he was a freedom fighter. During Clinton/Bush years he is a terrorist. Same man. Different titles. Guess it really depends on which side your on to determine if your a terrorist or freedom fighter.
Seems to me as people we ought to love our children more than fighting for another man's ideals. Does not matter it the man is named Bush or Bin Laden.

If war was not justified your rant would be written in Japanese. By the way the Japs invented suicide bombings, they called them kamikazes. Did we or did we not stop that.
