stop dogging out India.There religion is awesome if you ever decide to learn about others.They let some animals roam because there is a portion of them that believe and respect the belief in reincarnation.

In India, certain animals are considered sacred, to tie them down would be against thier religion. They use certain animals for food while others are worshipped.

why do you ask stupid questions? use you brain to come up with a logical answer. think about it in a country with 75 percent of it's citizen under the poverty level, do you think animals are going to be there top priority. it's like that in every other country too, even in some parts of america.

Cows are sacred in the Hindu religion...it is the highest form one can become through reincarnation. Rats are on the bottom...humans are somewhere in between.

because they value animals, some are very sacred to them specially the religion of jainism....they don't kill cockroaches and rats (which is a source of sicknesses) instead, they live with them....
