If I were in England, I'd feel safer without that blundering idiot Blair around to screw things up and extend America's horrible policies into the U.K.

Then again, I know nothing about this John Prescott.

Well I am knot quite sure of your question, I will try to answer it as best I can.
I feel very safe at home, however with all the world conflicts, the escalation of violence and tensions, I feel that we are headed for even more attrocities and further violence and worst conflicts which means that the only safety I can find is peace in my own heart, So to answer your question I would have to say YES

Those who are aware of the ill effects of environmental degradation and nature's destruction, do not feel safe anymore.
Our planet has been raped by human activity. We have abused the earth. Who are we to blame for the alarming climate change, increased carbon emission, global warming, declining marine resources, pollution, wildfires and loss of biodiversity? Arent they all man-made? Nature can survive without man. Nature can turn its wrath to man. By then, security/safety is plain history.
