I have always been in favor of letting foreigners join the military. I have served with some during my military career. They make good military people, and take advantage of the educational opportunities.
During the Viet Nam war, there were many people that were not citizens that joined the military, just to get their citizenship. Think it is a good way to earn citizenship. I do disagree, however, with those that are here on refuge status, and they will not register for the draft. Send their a-- back, if they are not willing to serve, if the draft is reinstated.

You case you didn't know many have gone the path of volunteering in the armed forces, not only in WWI and WWII, to get citizenship....
