Wow... 'innocent people don't exist in a warzone." I don't have to prove it; the military courts are doing that themselves. Don't you read or watch the news?

Why does everyone take my question as an attack on our country, or good soldiers? I just don't understand why there is so much denial abot the bad soldiers, who hurt the efforts of our good ones.

Why don't you go over there and fight?

Because only a handful have actually, intentionally, murdered innocent civilians. Saying they all did it is just like saying all black people are rapists. That said, it -is- a war. People get murdered in a war whether they're carrying a gun or not. That's just what happens. It's what has been happening since the first war humanity fought and it will happen until the last war humanity fights. The fact that the U.S. knows civilians die in war is the main reason the government takes the fight to someone else's country. If innocent people are going to die regardless, they don't want it to taxpayers.

It's not pretending the soldiers aren't murdering innocent people. It's the fact that apparently U.S. citizens are the only people that actually remember what happens in a war. Everyone else just runs around surprised and does news reports every time someone that isn't military dies. It's a good thing the British and French didn't do that during WWII; they wouldn't have had any time to actually defend their homeland.

It's a war. War kills people. War doesn't care if you're a soldier or a child. If you get in the way of War, prepare to be too dead to care about anything. The way to avoid this? A) Don't get in the way of War B) Don't create situations that would involve foreign militaries coming to your country; it never ends well.

You should read some history before you ask that question. People who look innocent always aren't. In every war tactics are used to lull soldiers into feeling that things are calm, and that there is nothing to be afraid of. In vietnam the VC used women and children as combatants. This has happened through out time. Soldiers are on edge, ready to act at any feeling of a threat. Until the evidence is brought to light you should not make accusations that you have no proof of. The way I see it Iraq is not a threat to the people in this country, but to the Americans over in Iraq, every person is a threat. If you did not see these acts firsthand, you should probably calm down and climb off your high horse, and at least pretend like you give a crap about the guys that are over there.

O.K Ladies and Gentlemen, I am over here right now as we speak and there has been a lot of great answers but there are a couple of things that we are missing. From talking to some of the Iraqi people who live here a lot of times these people are made to be suicide bombers. The terrorist will kidnap or hold their whole family hostage and say if you do not do this we will kill your whole family. Not that i am saying it is right but what would you do?

As for the soldiers over here. Man i have a new respect for these brave men and woman. Now with the situation i just explained about, here comes this lady, child walking towards you and your patrol unit with possibly a bomb strapped to there *** and you ask them to stop and they keep coming what do you do? They are doing what they have been forced to do and the army is doing what they have to do to stay alive and serve and protect the country. Yes there may and i stress may be some cases of wrongful killings over here but there are circumstances over here that most human beings in America would only see in the movies. The situation being viewed first hand over here changes you and everything that you was before you got here, you trust no one but your American counter parts. I think survival! God Bless all the American troops and return them home safe!

You really don't know much about war do you? It's not about the guy with the thickest deck of pokeman cards. Some day when you're mature enough you will understand concepts like collateral damage and acceptable loss as it relates to the world scale. Until then I'd suggest that you stop watching FOX and CNN and start paying more attention to the associated press. This way you'll start getting a more factual view of the world around you.

If you don't like the idea of our soldiers going over and putting their lives on the line to protect this country which is what they are doing, then I suggest you go to a different country where you have no rights to get on computers and put down the country you live in, the "ruler" of that country, and the men and women fighting for the country you live in! It's because of these so called murderers you're able to wake up safe in this country and live the way you live, it's because of them you're able to have a computer and get on it and say these nasty comments about them but of course, you're so closed minded and just in denial about the good our troops REALLY do that you don't want to hear this or realize it!

Because even if ten people out of a million are doing something, it's not accurate to say the million are.

Out of the several hundred thousands troops stationed around the world, are someone of them intentionally killing innocent civilians? Sure. And those that do get punished, just like anyone else who violates the law. Do some of them accidentally kill civilians? Sure. War is tragic, and civilian casualties are inevitable.

But just because a few such incidents may occur, intentionally or accidentally, it's not accurate to say "our soldiers" are killing civilians. Any more than it's accurate to say "Christians are raping women" just because a few rapists happen to be Christian. Or "Muslims are bombing our cities" just because a few terrorists claim to be Muslim.

It's not rational to blame hundreds of thousands (or millions) of people based on the actions of a very very tiny few.

Nothing justifies killing innocent people. What kind of a person is he who carries out a command despite the knowledge that it will result in the loss of innocent life? Why would anyone do that? Are you defending yourselves from the supposed terrorists who have "WMD's" or are you giving freedom to oppressed people? Did they even ask for your help? I am sorry but i am forced to conclude that America is occupying territories without a legitimate reason and in doing so, its soldiers are murdering innocent civilians. But the saddest part is that the American people are letting them do it.

Who knows. Who even knows what they're still fighting for. It was Osama Bin Laden and his entourage that attacked America not the children, men and women who are being killed everyday. Whats the point of fighting in a "war" when the people you're harming aren't even trying to fight back? Ugh It just bothers me SO much that no one is getting this oh -so -obvious fact! It makes me more angry because if this same thing happened on American soil the world would make a much bigger deal over it, but to be honest no one doing ANYTHING beneficial to help it.

Why did some Muslims kill over 3000 innocent American civilians? Hmm??? Does that mean that all Muslims are killing innocent civilians? NOOOO... Maybe some soldiers did kill people, but I know for a fact that most soldiers don't just go killing whoever they want. They are trained to do a job and murder of innocents is not one of them.

I am not a fan of war but the soldiers are over there to do a job they were told to carry out. There are those who commit war crimes and they should be punished for that. But the men and women who are following the rules, doing what they were sent there to do....well I feel that's admirable. My father was a Marine stationed in Danang during the vietanm war. I am very proud of him for his service to our country. He is my hero. Take care and I hope you have an amazing evening! Oh....and don't forget to enjoy that freedom you have courtesy of our soldiers.

PS
I just wanted to say that was very small minded of me. I just assumed the the asker was an American. If you're not I am sorry I worded my answer that way.
