The UN would have invited Hitler to dinner. After dinner they would have asked Hitler How many countries do we need to give you to have you STOP. UN = STUPID worthless organization. Unless that is your interested in an Oil for food Scandal then there all in.

There is the key answer. According to the UN! The UN is good for nothing! I don't think that Hezbollah wants to talk! They are trying
to distract the UN from disarming them by staying in this war and
Iran is Hurriedly trying to get their nukes in order while the attention
is focused elsewhere! I think they maybe even sat down and planned all this ! I say let all the liberals go peacefully into Lebanon
for talks with the Hezbollah ! See ya! They may never return but
thats ok. Its a risk we can take! I think the liberals don't know anything and that is why they are so concerned about only the
Hamas and Hezbollah. They could care less that for their entire
existence all they have wanted to do in obliterate Israel and that
they carried it out by attacking Israel! All they do when you ask
them straight out if we need to disarm Hezbollah is change the
subject! The link below is interesting if anyone wants to take a look at it.

yoiu make assumptions about liberals without knowing what they see as realistic, approaches to problems between opposing groups. a political approach is the only one which can achieve what is needed in the middle east, NOT a religious prejudiced approach. there will be no solution as long as religion is the reason for struggle. military force cannot, and will never be the decisive method of solving ANY problem without causing destruction and fomenting continued hatred. once the religious basis for disagreement is removed, and eliminated from any and all consideration, a political balance can be achieved. unfortunately, none of the parties, from whatever side or position have come to the conclusion that RELIGION and POLITICS cannot mix. they are a recipe for disaster. just read a history book of wester civilization. religion has caused more wars, and politics resolved more differences than you can imagine. sepration of the two is essential if peace is to achieved. conservatives cannot accept this, so the problems remain.

Think of them as Militia if that makes it easy on you.
All I know is : we should use whatever means that will stop this madness of killing everybody that is civilian.
Do not sit on your nice comfrotable chair,in front of the computer, at your safe house in free USA and easily criticize solutions that MAY lead to ceasefire that will let those people who live in the other side of the globe to get some break from the smell of dead bodies, the red blood and the sound of the explosions ( Lebanese or Israelis)

You need to look at the big picture here. The murder of Lebonese men, women, and children did not start over two or three captured Israeli soldiers. There is alot more to this scenario than meets the eye. We are the country putting millions of people out of their homes and into refugee camps. We are the ones that are taking over entire countries for our "justified" ideologies. I think America is the terrorist and until our own people realize that, we are going to keep breeding hate towards America. How can we honestly think we are right in killing what we created?

Were they not elected by the palestian people? Let me get this straight. Conservatives say that we are in the middle east to liberate the people, give them freedom to choose their leaders. But only if they are people that we approve of? What gives us a right to interfere? Yes, if they are the elected representatives of those people, then we should recognize that. Whether or not we agree with their decision doesn't matter. Maybe instead of trying to play the Billy Badass role, America could realize that they have to practice what they preach.

The UN is a joke, let's invite Hezbollah to gather in a huge area together, so we can end this without wasting so much ammo.

you're misquoting the UN. They just said that we should engage the political wing of Hizbollah and therefore marginallize the military wing. This has the possibility of showing hizbollah they can achieve more with the ballot than the bullet. No one said anything about showing respect.

Like the UN and Kofi Anan, Hezbollah has neglected to earn respect, and Hezbollah has no respect for their fellow man, nor their own people. Their actions have proven this as fact, again and again and again.
