Okay the war is a war, there is nothing you can do about it. If you want it over go help fight in the many places troops are stationed.
Second of all Bush can't fight you know why? He is the Commander-in-Chief. You know what that position is? He is incharge of all the military members he is the highest of the high in rank; he beats any four-star general we have. And have you ever seen a president fight for his country? The answer is NO.
The war is not going to work out if we do not support President Bush; I said support him not agree with everything he does or says. We may question what he does but there is not too much you can do.
Also not everything in the media news is true. You know what they focus on? the stuff that people are interested because that is news.
Our troops are proud to serve our country. They would be happy to die for their freedom too. All of them who have died, are all heros to me.And they should always be.
I'm saying support Bush and the troops.

The US constitution give the President command of the military. However, the Founding Fathers, in theis wisdom, did nto want the presidetn going off half ****** when ever he wanted. That is why they gave the power to declare war to the Congress.

The origional intent was for the Congress to decide IF we should fight and it was the president who determine HOW we would fight. Unfortinuitly most presidents, including both Bushs have largely ignored this seperation of powers, since the last delared war, was WW2

As for supporting the president no matter what, I don't think so. We have a duty as American citizens, through the Congress to limit the power of the president to lead us over a clif like in Iraq.

I do, however, always support the troops. They signed up to defend OUR country and fight for OUR freedon and liberty. I believe that there is an unspoken agreement when Americans volenteer for the military, the leadership, up to and including the president, will not send them in to harm way unless it is absolutly neccessary. Iraq was not one of thoes situation where we should be sacraficing our men and women who chose to serve. I think with Bush's rush to war and his ignoring CIA analysis that might case doubt on his pre-determined war, he has squandered the lives of troops who have died and also the lives of the troops who and severaly injured.

The truth is Iraq was a war of choise not of neccessaity which has also left us ill equipted to deal with the real threats in Iran and N. Korea.

This is reason enough to dislike George W. Bush. There are many more, but who has time to write all of them?

supporting Bush has nothing to do with how the war goes, if someone knows what they are doing someones support will make no difference in how things go... and not everyone in the war wants to be there a lot of kids join the army as a way to escape the life they currently have or to pay for college and then get dooped into go to war and getting killed for cause they dont even believe in or understand.. iam not going to try to convince you to not like Bush because clearly you already have your mind made up, so why dont you go get drunk like you beloved president did but instead of getting a DUI maybe you can crash into something and not survive

I find it amusing that bush had no knowledge of foriegn affairs when he was originally up for the presidency in 2000, but at least he tried to fix that. He was known to have meetings with foriegn leaders in an effort to learn of the conflicts and policies.
Perhaps it did not help him much in the end, but he did try.
Guess that is what happens when our presidents grow up rich.

Well the war is an ILLEGAL war. That is the basic premise. What right does he have to take the nation into a war for personal reasons, putting the lives of so many into danger. Can he look at all those parents who lost their children and all people who are disabled. straight in their eyes and tell them he did no wrong?

You sir, Are the biggest moron I've ever encountered here.....you enjoy paying high gas prices, while Bush says that's the nature of the business...you would crap your pants if someone was shooting at you...you don't really know what it's like to have your brother killed defending a bunch of crazy muslims...you don't really know what is coming next....you don't live in a city that has cut their Police forces because all of our tax dollars are being spent for "Iraqi Freedom" while your mom or sister are being robbed....While teachers are being laid off due to budget cuts...while our roads are in disrepair!!! You can pull your head out anytime now!!!

First, I cannot convince you of anything. I can put forth the arguments, but only you can decide whether to accept of reject the arguments.

Second, along those lines, if nothing i say has any value or worth, there is nothing worth saying.

Lastly, seeing how you feel, it would almost have to be an Act of God to compel you to consider the possibility that you are wrong in your beliefs.

Well...i do support the troops...because most of their heart is pure...and they are just doing what a soldier must do....But i can't say the same for BUSH. If he had used his brains(i've doubt whether he has one), he could have taken care of this war in a bit more honorable fashion...by NOT KILLING CIVILIANS!
