I need some dicipline. I'm ridiculously shy and i don't go out and talk to people cause i'm extremely shy and too imbarrassed to talk.I'm 17, everytime my teacher talks to me, i get red and imbarrassed, and she's only talking to me cool. Anyways, i wanna join the military and don't think that's the reason i'm joining, but it is one reason. I hear the Air Force treats their people good and that Training is easy. Does that mean i'll be the same guy once i come out??
I'm joining to serve my country.
But i just wanna know if it will change me.

I know there is no draft, and won't be one unless WWIII and WWIV both break out in Canada or Mexico at the same time. But, imagine if there were one, and a bunch of draftees skip out of the country. I think that since they decided to refuse the responsibilities of citizenship, theirs should be permanently revoked. What do you think?

I am fixing to enlist in the military. I am still 17 and my mom has agreed to sign what's needed in order to enlist. My question to you is, am I legally emancipated in the state of Texas and/or Georgia? If so, will I be able to sign contracts and get my license without having prior drivers ed?

Thank You

Does anybody think this is true? Who does a harder days physical work (in the likes of a DIY store and the physical requirements that are needed within) and should we be paid equally when women can retire at an earlier age? Do men get an equal chance when going for jobs that are female oriented? Just wondering...

2.) Which of the two do you think the majority of American citizens would vote for?

After reading numerous questions aimed at the supposed lack of apathy towards the poor and unemployed I am confused. If they were truly sick and unemployed cant they get grants and aid, or other things of the same nature from the government? What is stopping them from getting it?

There's been some well informed folks on here providing serious info about the threats and promises Mexico is making against America. JD for one; check out his answer to SAVAGE'S question about the "race card". We're being threatened with a violent take over. I for one am taking it very serious and also preparing myself. We're in a dangerous position right here on our own soil and I hope I'm not alone in my vision of what is coming for us. Who else is preparing? Who else is taking their threats serious?

conservatives want to starve our poorest American citizens and give jobs to illegal immigrants, what's wrong with this picture?

wouldn't the USA be better off to just send all conservatives over 18 to Iraq to fight their war, and bring our military home?

If you don't like it, isn't it realistic to approach the factor that we do reserve the right to choose and vote for our government?

Is the personal opinion of government more an issue than affecting a change in approach?

Tell me, with good reason and intelectual concepts, not teenage rhetoric.

Mitt Romney is thinking of running for president. If he wins, he'll be the first Mormon president. About 17% percent of Americans say they would not vote for a Mormon under any circumstances. That's about the way people felt about a Catholic president before Kennedy got elected. Personally, I'd love to have a true conservative as like Romney as president and I don't care much if he's Mormon. But I'm wondering what ya'll think.
FYI: Most Mormons don't endorse polygamy anymore.
