Joe can't even get the nomination for Senate in his own state, so he's thinking of "playing the system" and running as an Independent. I liked McCain until he started stumping for Bush after Bush insulted his patriotism. Someone else mentioned Wesley Clark, who I "wrote in" in 2004. McCain/Clark would be an interesting ticket, even though I don't put much faith in McCain.

I think our next President will be a former Governor or state politician, not a Washington insider, though.

I remember all the talk about Kerry courting McCain in 2004 for his VP nominee. It'll never happen. The Party Money Machines will make sure of it...

Hell yes i'd be for that, but it wont happen.Liberman is about the only true democrat left in that party who doesnt have the liberal shi*t stain on his head that has killed off the democrats. He just needs to come on the republican side period, like i did years ago. Dont foget Gulalini in 08, im thinking hes gonna wind up being the man to beat

And look at all the liberals here who HATE Liberman, lol, about the only TRUE democrat they have left and they hate the poor guy. Go ahead and keep on losing elections libtards

Sure, but I'm more ready for a total revamp in our government period...I think it would be a bigger/better step if we didn't just have the same people over and over again none of which are better than what we've been dealing with with the past 3 presidents.

Not a huge Lieberman fan -- he seems to follow the polls a bit too much.

How about McCain / Westley Clark (or visa versa)?

I'd vote for that!

Who would really want McCain ? Joe's a nice guy - but doesn't have a following.. I don't think that this will ever happen.
