Some politicians and members of the conservative media have accused John Stewart and the Daily Show of discouraging people, especially young people, from being involved in the political process. Do you think that's accurate or not? And would you consider yourself a regular viewer of the show, an occasional viewer or a non-viewer, etc.

Or are your opinions just a combination of a repeating what other people say in in articles and on the news? Maybe something you heard from someone you know? How can you choose a side. Basically, politcal parties and candidates seem similar. The only difference seems to be tax breaks for the wealthy, and smaller issues.

America went on the warpath after 9-11 . The tanks rolled ..........
North Korea claims that the only reason it's government is still there is a large military and nuclear weapons ....they appear to be right. According to Dan Rather they see Iraq's mistake as not having the bomb.

Does the US only take on small countries it knows it can beat?

What is it about N Korea or what does it have etc that makes Americans think twice and suddenly send diplomats????

NO Nationwide Rally to Stop Illegal Immigration
on Saturday, July 1st, at noon, at every city hall.

Thank you for your interest, but it is time to admit that we did not attract enough activists to make this happen on July 1st. The next best thing is to send the Bad Senator's List to your Senators and House of Representatives. Let them know we remember what they did.

What happened? Why weren't you anti illegals there? This was supposed to be a NATION WIDE PROTEST.At every single town in the USA.Aren't you ashamed that you didn't take this chance to let EVERYONE know that you wanted illegals deported.I don't think there's and senators or congressmen on this board. And I doubt that they read emails.Typical Americans.Just bend over and take, and COMPLAIN.

I am a mixed army brat myself, but was just curious because I use to live in an Army town and I would see alot of soldiers dating people outside their race. I'm just curious to know why it's so common in the military.

Based on my last few questions, I feel I need to go to court to get my property back... Do to the property not being worth that much, and the cost involved to get a lawyer to file this and represent me, I feel the only logical way to do this is to file myself and represent myself. So is it possible, and how would one go about doing this? This is simply a dispute over personal property. Small claims is not a possibility. SO, can I get this done myself?? Any Qualified answers would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I was just wanting to know if it was legal to outsource our state prisons to countries such as China? It would cost 1/50 the price to house an inmate in this coutry. We would no long have to worry about the costs to house felons and illegals.

Is there any reason why homosexuals should not be allowed to marry that isn't based on Biblical teachings or personal bias? Every group, race, religion, and gender in this country has been discriminated against at some point in history. As recently as 1965, there were active laws in the U.S. prohibiting interracial marriage. How is this different, and why do we still allow it to happen?

I'm just tired of the liberals' belly aching about the evil conservatives and the conservatives mockery of real American values. Now I know that this really applies to Dems and Reps, but it is just sad to me that there are so few officers in our government that have a true vision of the future and not just there own pocket books. In the words of Phil Collins, "They're all the same, it's just a shame, that's all."

To prevent the abuses of power which were typical of kings, the Founders divided the powers of government into three branches, and directed them to check and balance one another. But they are not doing so.

Why has Congress and the Supreme Court not checked and challenged the president's violations of the law?
