In Canada we call the Conservatives Conservatives and somtimes Tories and the liberals are liberals somtimes called Grits. We have a multi party syestem but it just goes back and forth between the Tories and Grits.

I am always confused by US politics. It seems that your President is like an elected King and the two other houses are just as big a mystery.

Why is it that Republicans are filled with hate for everybody that does not agree with them?

Republicans are for hating in the world and Democrats are here on earth to love and spread peace, ever notice that?

American people are so self concerned that our countrys system of checks and balences are slowly becoming one big joke. When is the last time Bush got checked on any of his unconstitutional actions? For example, Guantanamo Bay, Propaganda for war on Iraq, Phone tapping American citizens secretly and his lack of separation between church and state. When is the last time we as American people made let it be known that we care about the greater welfare of this country as it pertains to us all in the end?

I define thinking as What why where when and how. Ask that and you are thinking but some choose not to do that. They parrot out what they were taught to recite and god help you if you contridict it. Freedom comes at a cost - bigger than haveing the nicest tank - when you hear a view do you just jump on a band wagon ? Then you are a nazi just waiting for a charismatic leader (maybe Bush). If your head is so far up the flags *** then your not thinking your reciteing. By the way Christopher Columbus didn't discover America but if you want the grade then I guess he did.

I like my country I think we have done a lot of good things but when I get to the point where I believe everything the PM's office says or the oposition I think it's time for a one way walk into the woods.

Question everything Who what why when how etc ....your intelect will govern the type of things you see and question and it will also govern what kind of answers you get but at least you will be thinking.

Republican corruption running rapid. Lie's about Iraq, unstable economy, gas prices through the roof, and Bush wants to get rid of social security for lack of money yet is able to crap out a few hundred billion for the Iraq war. My 13 yo son just got in trouble for going into a house with another kid and they took a playstation2 game. The officer said that my son was the follower and the other kid was the one who ent in first and said"Lets take the game". The people who live in the house have either moved or were kicked out because the electric is off but they still have their dogs there and I guess some other stuff.
Anyways, they took a game but if they reach the lady who lived there and she wants to press charges...it will be a felony (for B&E or something)and they will take my son to jail and then JDC or someplace. I will have to go to court and everything.
How long will a felony stay on his record? Will this stay and he will have to put it on his job apps and other documents? just curious!
