I believe that the following words represent the mission statement of the United States of America. I believe that I know what they mean. I want to know what other people think the Founding Fathers were trying to tell us. Here they are:

"We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these Rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the Consent of the Governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these Ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its Foundation on such Principles, and organizing its Powers in such Form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness."

Why are we againts Iran having an atomic bomd...?? we have one..hell we were the first ones who ever used it.......we should have only used one bomb in Japan but no we had to show off so we used two and killid millions of more people then needed.......Why does not iran have a right as a country to develop nuclear weapons to protect it self from other countries..........why cant iran and anyother middle eastern countries have atomic weapons when all the european nations can have them? why cant they have a atomic bomb when we already have one?I never got that..

First you all think that the whole world should speak English( actually the world has a lot more languages and we are not all native English)
2nd they wanna ban the immigrants( actually all the us people are actually immigrants from europe or asia somewhere in the past).

So tell me from where do you get all this arrogance and stupidity?

What is the point of sending our military to another country and distroying a city just to turn around and have americans tp pay for it to get rebuilt ---- by americans? did any one send or offer to rebuild the towers no just america did anyone send or offer to rebuild the pentagone? no just americans so why is it every city that we go and blow up we have to go and rebuild it?why distroy it if were just going to rebuilt it. this is not the 6 million dollar man we cant make it stronger we cant make it better. let them worry about rebuilding it.

This is all givin to them just for coming over here. And when we go over there the only thing we would get is a bullet. Tell me how this is right or just. I think the good ol' USA needs to care about its own people FIRST. By the way,send our troops home soon.

Assume the following:

* A permit must be applied for (including background check/fingerprint/photo id issued --- people with felony criminal records or violent crimes would NOT be eligible
* A class must be attended and the applicant must pass a written/practical test including demonstrating knowledge of how to care for and use the weapon (i.e. similar class as to what Peace Officers must take and pass) This class would cover the legal use and ramifications for using the weapon (including uses where the weapon is NOT fired)
* If required by existing state law, the owner of said weapon must have child safety locks/a lockable safe place to secure said weapon when not in use.
* Government buildings would be off limits while carrying the weapon, even with a permit.
* Private businesses could post signs that state “no concealed weapons” (I’ve seen this before while visiting Indiana)

Please do not argue the assumptions above, just go with them and answer the question...

and vulgar name calling that so many people claiming to be a liberal or conservative do is going to change someones mind? do you think someone is sitting there thinking, "well i was going to be a liberal but i see here according to liberals_svck23 that they are all %$@ ^%^&& #$^ *(^% half a brain ^$##$^ ^##$%^& &%$ *()&$@" so i will be a conservative instead!"

Hispanics or Latinos don't exist as a race.
In Central and in South America we have also multi ethnic countries (because you always speak of Central and South Americans as if we all had brown skin).
We have people of African, European and Asian origin (not to mention the Amerindians).
Please take a look in a book of Geography and you will see that in countries like Argentina or Brazil there are also whites (nearly 50% of the population of Brazil is white and nearly 85% of the population of Argentina is white).
I don't want to say that whites are better than any other race, but I want to inform you that there are also whites in the South. Let me also remind you that French is also a language which derives from Latin. Then all the people in Quebec who speak french should be called Latinos too?

We spend all this money to form a governing body for our country but no one wants to go along with what they ask of us. It shouldn't matter if some people disagree with the war in Iraq. Bush was elected and now its his decision to make along with the other elected officials. All these people waste energy crying about the war when they could expend that on supporting our soldiers and our country couldn't they? My biggest curiousity is out of the people who are against the war in Iraq how many voted for Bush to be the President? How many never even voted at all???

Generally, how are Coast Guards viewed by other military branches? Like, i heard the Navy and the Marines usually get along with each other. Is there a great respect, or a sentiment of inferiority b.w the C. Guards and other branches? I was thinking of joining.

Most of my family on my pop's side was in the military including my parents and by brother(all retired). I love the military and the what it stands for and after technical school i want to join the Air Force and train for officer. Any thing i need to know what i m up against and any benefits for the future
