Why are we againts Iran having an atomic bomd...?? we have one..hell we were the first ones who ever used it.......we should have only used one bomb in Japan but no we had to show off so we used two and killid millions of more people then needed.......Why does not iran have a right as a country to develop nuclear weapons to protect it self from other countries..........why cant iran and anyother middle eastern countries have atomic weapons when all the european nations can have them? why cant they have a atomic bomb when we already have one?I never got that..

We hate iran too...Hello!!!!! and wat do u think Bush is doin to people(innocent people) in iran...do u think by killin or wedging a war with the country dat already hates us we will make matters better. wat do u hope to accomplish with this war anyway....cant blow up every one in iran,iraq,middle east...all we are doin is makin those people hate us even more.....

you guys are not getting it.....Iran didnot start war with usa we did with them.....do u think they dont have a consicene that they would just kill us? we USA were the first ones who unleashed the destructive power of atomic bomb on japan not the other way around....we did not stop bac then we kept developin new nuclear weapons now we are preaching to other countries to not do wat we already did......do u think they should not develop nuclear tech so countries like usa, just go when ever they want and take over......they fear us and if we let them develop there weapons they wont fear us anymore and might actually try talkin to us....

I'm not personally against Iran having atomic weapons, at least not any more than any other country, particularly as I don't believe that the Iranians want to commit national suicide by using them.
As for why the U.S. government doesn't want Iran to have atomic weapons, it is largely because such weapons would be out of American control, meaning that the U.S. would have less control over world affairs and therefore less security (that is, less confidence in its security). Also, the rivalry between the two countries' governments was started with American intervention in the 1950s; such a long-standing divide is not likely to be resolved quickly or easily.

Ever hear of the underlying issue. You know right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. The real issue is Israel. They are hated in the region and especially by Iran. They will never allow Iran to complete a nuc program. Israel has the Sampson option,which is if they are going to get wiped out they take the whole region with them. Why do you think they survived this long? There is allot more politics than this going on but I think this would be the most important. You must be young otherwise you would know that there are nations out there waiting to wipe each other off the map.(even though they don't come out and say it)

To have a nuclear weapon you need to be able to "secure" it. Their government is unstable and extreme. There are too many terrorist networks interlaced within their government. Have you forgotten about the hostages taken in the late 70's and the resounding messages chanted ever since that they hate America and all we stand for. If they ever develop a weapon capable of launching to the US-can I give them your address?
