It depends in what state the accused are being prosecuted in (meaning, where did the crime take place). If the crime was committed in New York, then yes, the accused would all be arrested at the current locations, and then transported by the police to the county where the crime took place to await prosecution.

They would more likely hold the trials in the jurisdiction the offence happened when the witnesses are available. The court may agree to let the witnesses give evidence thru an interactove broadcast from the city they live in.
