The state religion of the kingdom of Saudi Arabia is Wahhabism, a Muslim sect which calls all non-Muslims (and many Muslims) "infidels" who are worthless and justly killed. The money we pay at the gas pump pays for their schools, or "madrassas", where they train people to hate. These madrassas are everywhere, including the United States.

People who race around in gas guzzlers are causing the very problems we are fighting world-wide (e.g. the train bombings in Spain and London as well as 9/11). Instead of paying for police and military through our income taxes, why not make the people who are contributing to the problem pay for its solution? It would also reduce the amount of money flowing overseas, and get US consumers to think about buying efficient cars like the Europeans and Japanese have been doing for years.

I live in the UK, and am just curious - I know the americans faught in it, have seen films like platoon etc, but no film Ive seen really explains the details. What started the war? what was it about?

Please dont think Im having a go at the americans, and americans might find my ignorance appaling, but as the brits werent involved, its not something we study in school, and im just curious as to what it was about. Vietnam seems a long way off from america, why were the americans involved? Were any other countries involved?

I was born a long time after vietnam, but would love to know more.

Thanks. xx

I am the Plaintiff in a lawsuit. I am claiming that I overpaid for hotel accomadations- which I did in fact overpay. I was promised verbally a rate of $39.00 per day if I stayed longer than 6 months, I stayed over 300 days- when I reviewed the accounting, I learned that I was charged $59,$79,$89, $179 Per Day. I asked for an accounting showing my payments and debits but was "pushed" out by lawyers for the hotel, via threatening letters, an eviction lawsuit, and some other legal maneuvers. I agreed to vacate based on a stipulation agreement that specifically states that each party (ME & THE HOTEL) may bring suit for money at any later time. My records show an overpayment/credit to me of $38,000.00 +/-. I filed a lawsuit against the hotel and now, a new team of lawyers is trying to get my case dismissed, I have about a month to file a new complaint. The opposing lawyer states that I need to... Make a Motion for more definite statement, Motion to comple separate statements of claim....

Since at least November last year, after the last Jewish settlers left, the Israeli government has been using low-flying aircraft in the Gaza strip to create 'sonic booms' throughout the night, which sound like bombs and are so loud and terrifying that they are causing pregnant women to miscarry their children. The 'sonic booms' are meant to terrorise the entire Palestinian population in Gaza and act as collective punishment for all the people there. You can read more about them here: http://www.guardian.co.uk/israel/Story/0,2763,1607450,00.html

I understand that the anti-abortion lobby in certain countries, such as the US, is very strong. Whatever your position on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, please could someone put pressure on the authorities in their country to stop the deaths of these unborn, innocent Christian and Muslim Palestinian babies?

I am planning to join the Army right out of highschool when I graduate in a few years. My fear is that because I have a juvenile record (which by the way; the charges were dropped, and all I had to do was some community service & write a 5 page paper on "Why what I did was wrong") that the Army will not allow me to enlist. I need an answer because I haven't really thought about doing anything else in life that I would enjoy other than the Army for work right out of highschool.

I've looked over the US sites about immigration a thousand times and it's just too much and too confusing! I need to know the process (include exact forms and fees please, and if possible the time duration) of getting my husband US citizenship. I was born here so i'm a legal citizen but my husband is from mexico and has been living here illegally since high school. We want his citizenship so he can go to college among other things.

Further details:
He's been in this country since 1999.
He's 22 years old.
He graduated high school in 2003, here in california.
We've been married for less than a month.

Also if anyone has any information on how to join the military if your illegal, i'd appreciate that as well.

Please, any help anyone can give us, especially those who have already been through the process, will be thoroughly appreciated. Thank you. :)

I can't believe they passed that law. Think about it: there is nothing we are FORCED to pay money for to live here. That is why we are called a free nation.

(I know these are necessary for a normal life but think a minute)

- cars are choice, u could actually walk if u had to
- u could grow ur own food or go to food banks
- u don't have to pay taxes if u don't work or buy anything
- u dont pay car ins if u dont own a car
- u dont have to pay property tax if u dont own any property

I know that stuff is extreme but open your mind a minute and think. I mean at least you DO HAVE A CHOICE... bad one but A CHOICE.

How can Mass. get away with requiring its residence to pay health insurance? What will they do.. force them to move out of the state? Take their property if they don't get it?
