If prostitution is the consensual exchange of goods and services between two consenting adults why is it then illegal? Nobody is directly being hurt by this lifestyle choice. It is obvious this practice can be done relatively safely and may help many men to release tension that might other wise come out in much more destructive ways, i.e. rape, murder, physical battery. Obviously pimping should be illegal but if a woman can kill her own child in the womb it is by its own logic absurd that she can not chose who to have sex with or not, even if it is for money. I personally find abortion much more offensive than prostitution. At least in prostitution the individuals are potential consenting and nobody ends up getting murdered in the end. And even if you don’t agree with it personally doesn’t it make sense to allow people to do things you might not like. This is how we as humans truly learn, from experience. In my opinion most things should be legal unless it will directly cause the infringement of rights upon another individual, i.e. such as rape, murder, robbery, kidnapping, battery, etc. This is blatantly obvious. America need to stop micromanaging and allow people the freedom they tout as its mantra.

Do you feel that if you try and get involved as much as possible concerning politics, and our Government, that you can possibly make a difference in the world? And if you try to steer clear of things regarding the political arena, then why? Do you feel as if there is nothing that you can possibly do or say to change the way that things are progressing in the world?

A soldier goes into a house, shoot three people and rapes a woman. Republicans will excuse this how? How long until they blame America haters and the press? How long until they say that these things happen in war and if the media didn't undermine the war, then this wouldn't have happened?
I say this because they excused Abu Grhaib as "hazing," Haditha as "misunderstanding" the secret prisons in Europe as "vital" and so on. What happened to every person's life being equal? I'm ready for the, "terrorists don't think your life is valuable" answers. Because of course, to preserve our moral high ground and freedoms, we have to act like them.

Following the US/Mexico war, both the United States and Mexico signed the Treaty of Guadalupe-Hidalgo, in the year 1848. Additionally, the United States paid the country of Mexico 15 million dollars for the lands. Now, it seems, the treaty's being walked back. What do you think of 'si, se puede', and claims against american lands? Spurious, or intentional act of belligerency?

My question is based on an experience I've just had in a seperate question. Someone asked about the environment, and the folks who answered seemed to flame on her.
Which brings up my multiple part thought/question.

Is it possible for 'us' to have an open dialougue and then find a communal answer which draws people together instead of pitting them against one another. My example sits everywhere around us. People today dont even try and understand one another; instead, we insist on being 'Right'. Democracy is about dialougue, and working together toward a common interest.
----
the 'b' section of this question is ...If 'we' are so divergent in our thinking how can this democracy last another 100 years? How will 'we' --you and me-- re-empower ourselves and save our dieing experiment...democracy?

So many (American) people are divided about “illegal" immigrant laws today. On each side there stand reasons for the fight for what they believe in, but do you realize that we are fighting within our nation about another county citizen. What are those counties doing to safe guard their people rights? Does USA have an obligation to take in anyone who feels like their county is not taking care of them? When do we as a nation say that is enough?
Do you realize that we as a nation takes on some many county problem that our county is always forgotten, we have homeless people sitting on the streets, have children dropping out of school working under wage jobs, young girl having babies before the age of 15, males children going to jail before they hit 15, and the list just keeps going on. How can someone for human rights look over what’s going on in their own backyards to say they care about people. I think it’s more about race, greed, and self-worth. When is it going to be about our LAWS?

Specifically, the people that support them. Reading some of the post on various boards, I've noticed some disturbing, repetative, hateful, narrow minded,pro-coruption items. Some of these people actually think that Fox news is a real news source.

What I'm asking is: are these people more interested in suppporting the party, then supporting the actual concept of what the United States stands for?

How does one remove a restraining order to federal court. Basically, a restraining order was filed in a state that has no jurisdiction over the defendant. The Defendant notified them of that and they proceeded to have a hearing at a time when the Defendant count not appear. The Defendant never had the right to be heard. Defendant would like to remove to federal court in his own state, citing failure to be heard/violations of his Constitutional rights. Thank you.

Back in the early 80's the democrats pushed through a bill that destroyed the requirement to PROVE citizenship for voter registration.
Once this requirement was dropped, MANY illegals registered and illegally voted They even use this citizenship document to try to attain a legitamite SS card and
VOILA!
instant citizen!

How do I know?

I was fired from a job registering voters in Sacramento, Ca. Paid by a poitical campaign because I refused to register some guys that openly told me they were not citizens (that is the only way to NOT legally register someone, if they admit they are not a citizen!)

Of course a bnch of LIARS are going to say this is BS, but it isn't.
The campaign was to stop a building going up and it would have blocked the skyline or some crap like that, check it out 1988, early fall or late summer
