I have sent my fiance a few packages and I am running out of ideas. I have sent snacks, chapstick, pictures, cards, letters, hair clipper oil, engraved dog tags and other little items. Please give me some more ideas!

My brother was in Iraq and these were his favorites: Can's of chew for personal use and bartering, sunflower seeds, dog flea collars to put around his ankles to stop sand fleas, bags of hard candy to give to the kids(anything that will not melt is good), beef jerky or peperoni sticks, pocket sized bibles to hand out to fellow troops and carry with him. Pretty much anything that will fit in a pocket and not melt is a good idea. I also sent him the Gatorade powder in bags that you can get at construction supply stores. He put them in his camel back and had Gatorade instead of water to drink. I wish your fiancee safety and God's blessings while he is over sea's.

Tube socks to protect equipment and electoronics. Baby wipes. Any old magazines you can collect from friends. Homemade beef jerky. A draft stopper to put across the bottom of the doorway to keep sand out of the tent. Should be made of desert camo fabric.

I spent 2 years in Iraq and definitely all that stuff like purple meat jerky could be bought there and inspite of his interest he would be at a company base on some style of time-honored rotation so as that stuff isn't in all threat needed. that's barely effective to get letters from human beings you adore to maintain your spirits up via fact existence over there is annoying and that's encouraging to get those varieties of letters. i could say ask him what the PX would not have that he needs till now you basically deliver stuff, yet from adventure basically understanding all and sundry is thinking approximately you nonetheless in case you're dealing with which ability lots.

Letters with perfume on them are great. Maybe a hand held computer game. A small hand held battery-operated fan. I wish both you and him well, and will pray for his safe return to you.
