Actually if you ask me Henry Kissinger did do a great deal of damage to this country. Get educated on the man that still has too much power. Also how do entertainers BUILD the country. Espically people as recent as Sosa. Come on we have plenty of baseball players. Tesla was a bit of a nut but that is another story. Why is Kissinger listed twice? Is one his evil side and the other his good side? Oh and an immigrants' child ISN'T an immigrant. Hell that means I am an immigrant since on one side I am only a 3rd generation American. No one is against LEGAL immigrants. We are against ILLEGAL immigrants who come here breaking the law and expect us to change the law to say that is ok. Not only that they think we are wrong to have "taken their land" by winning a war against their country over 150 years ago. These are the people we are against.

Dubious list. Hell Carl Sagan was born in Brooklyn, New York. Looks like most of the others were legal immigrants or at least not illegal. I don't think a Russian dancers looking for asylum constitutes the building of anything. If you are going to claim illegal immigrants built the country don't you think you should present some evidence or maybe a fact or two?

Hell I hope Med School isn't a real doctor or something, I wouldn't want him treating me for anything.

shut the hell up those are all famous ones. What about Alberto Rodrigues? Dont know who he is. Hes the illegal immigrant that shot and killed a friend of mine over nothing. Go to any prison in america. Wetbacks are 40-55% of the inmates. 30-45% are illegal. Thats a fact. Is this a coincidence.

I would doubt most of those folks were forced to rely on social services for their existence. I don't remember hearing of them working as undocumented laborers. I believe all of those immigrants spoke English, and did their best to become members of American society rather than clinging to their past. Several of the people listed were given sanctuary by the American government fleeing hostile political situations in their home country.

Wanna Balloon,

You're forgetting the first batch of illegal aliens that came to the US. I believe they arrived in a ship called the Mayflower...

Consensus among americans at the time was that they did do some damage to their society.

I'm not sure the sports figures helped build America,: ) but your list is valid and could be even longer. but aren't we all immigrants ,or at least our ancestors were, except for Native American Indians. The black slaves were forced immigrants . I don't dislike any "immigrants" but I do respect the word legal

Until the laws are changed, illegal immigrants are committing a crime just as the people that you named did. If a murderer gets away with murder does it make it right? Should we let all the other murderers go free?

These immigrants became American citizens unlike present-day immigrants who come here to take away from America and give nothing back in return.
