If I had to be a Republican, I wouldn't vote at all. Because then I would not be able to think responsibly.

Being a Democrat is just as good as being a Republican, a Green, a Libertarian or having any other party affiliation. No one person, group or party has all of the answers to all of the questions, issues and problems which face any city, state or country.

Healthy debate is often required to find the best solution for a problem. It takes moral courage to express an opinion and to allow others to express theirs, even if one does not agree with them. It takes moral maturity to keep the debate on the issue and not turn it into a debate on the opposition or to throw mud. In attempting to belittle the opposition, the belittler demonstrates small-mindedness.

Personally I prefer a politician who votes according to conscience rather than toe the party line on every vote. Good ideas are not the monopoly of a single party. Democrats can have as valid an idea as a Republican.

I don't know if being a "democrat" is good, but I certainly believe that being liberal is good. After all, Jesus was a liberal.

The republicans, on the other hand, are the party who says that government doesn't work, and then they get elected AND PROVE IT!

Yes. I was raised by democrats who set a strong example of tolerance, hard-work and fairness. The democratic image has been distorted by the republican hate-machine which has needlessly divided this country.

Yes, I do....I am "Democrat" and very liberal in my thinking.....maybe not the poilitically correct way to say it but a almost "militant" Liberal....the two parties have always been the same and never will change regardless of the "BS" that Republicans want you to believe....but give them this, they love their party and we love ours...give them that and us our due......the "friggin" Independents are the ones that drive me crazy....."I wait and vote for the right man/woman" you say.......yeah right!.....just as soon as you see who is winning....you jump on the bandwagon.......you have no convictions...commitment...you are indecisieve....you know "nothing"......this is a two party country.....is and always will be...."get your defecation in sequence"....make a decision and stick with it.......when is the last time an "Independent" won a National election?.....NEVER! .....Are you a Republican or Democrat?......if you are neither that get lost.........I know as soon as some "Willie Horton" "BS" comes along it will make up your mind and only that...........Make a committment.....Republican or Democrat!!!!!!................( right now you are saying...this guy is crazy.....I will vote for the "best" man......I am my own man!!.....yeah a "girly-man"!!!!)

If it's Joe Lieberman, yes. If it's head in the clouds John Kerry, no. Also no to Al Gore and our ex-president Hilary.
