I voted for Bush in both elections. Now I wish I had voted for Gore in the first one.

However, given the choice between Bush and Kerry I'd STILL vote for Bush. And since I can't stand Bush anymore that is really saying something significant about Kerry. Kerry was just another liberal Massachusetts whiner with no plans of his own but plenty of indignant outrage. (Why doesn't Mass. take a hint and dump both Kennedy AND Kerry?)

Bush is no moron and he does have some competent people in his administration. But he's made some incredibly bad choices (Harriet Myers? what the hell was he thinking?!), choices his father, for example, never would have made. Today he has virtually no credibility. Fortunately he'll be gone before he can truly do us in.

Of course, with Kerry being one of the two democratic front runners (Hilary being the other) it looks to me like we'll be back in the between-a-rock-and-a-hard-place situation in 2008.

PLEASE, democrats: nominate someone worthwhile! There are a lot of republicans out there who'd vote for the right candidate.

Unlike some americans, Bush was elected because he has good morals. He stands up for what he believes in and I respect and honor that. We also have to remember that the congress and senete have the last say in all the decision that need to be made. Even if Bush wanted to hurt America, he couldn't if he tried. We are a strong country, that is why everyone wants us on there side when they need us. Some may disagree but I really don't care. Be afraid of the Democrats, they will be our doom expecially if Hillary gets into office. I have family and friends in the military and most support the war. Some have said that they would go back if need be. A lot of why we don't like this war is becasue its all over our TV's. We never had that really back in the 60's and 70's so we couldn't complain. What about the wars before whom we have lost 200,000 men and women in one day. We don't complain about those wars. Its all about this war. They say that there was no weapons of mass distruction OH but there was Mr. SADDAM. He killed and tortured so many of his own people. Why can't we be happy with the capture of him?. Now a days we want what we want and who cares for the rest of the world. Stop being so sellfish AMERICA. I was told by a an American solider that it is so discouraging to hear all of the negative talk about the war. He says they need to shut up and get over it. It is what is it and there is nothing that we or they can do to change it. Bush may not always make the right decisions but at least he is trying to make a difference in some one elses life over there.

When Ronald Reagan was President, people denigrated his intelligence all the time. However, he was probably, among all the people on earth, the only person with the unique personality and skill set to defeat the Soviet Union without firing a shot.

Say what you will about Bush, but he has literally transformed the Middle East in four short years. Libya has completely renounced its WMD program, Iraq and Afghanistan are democracies, and Syria has pulled out of Lebanon. Egypt and Saudi Arabia have felt the pressure of the global clamor for freedom and democracy. Both countries held small scale, free elections. It's a fledgling step, but everyone in the Middle East has seen democracy, and they want it. (see webiste below!)

Don't be scared. Be thrilled. Reagan rid us of the scourge of Communism, and now Bush is making great progress replacing oppressive Islama-fascist dictatorships with democracy.

In 2000 Bush was "selected" not "elected".

In 2004 his cronies cheated. Diebold machines and that other idiot in Ohio, "Kenneth Blackwell, the co-chair of President Bush's re-election committee. And as Bush's re-election chair in Ohio, he had a powerful motivation to rig the rules for his candidate. Blackwell, in fact, served as the ''principal electoral system adviser'' for Bush during the 2000 recount in Florida, where he witnessed firsthand the success of his counterpart Katherine Harris, the Florida secretary of state who co-chaired Bush's campaign there."

He inst an idiot. He has held many positions in his life including running an Oil Company and being part owner of the Texas Rangers.

He has some trouble talking on Camera sometimes and it makes him seem less intelligent than he is.

He, as all presidents, has limited power, so even if he wanted to destroy America he couldnt.

No, he won't be our doom. The nation is too strong to be doomed by him. He got elected because the average American voter dosn't really educate themselves to what the cadidates are all about. The Republicans scare the voters with their hate, divide, greed, and scare tactics as the people fall for it. Their message is usually God, guns, gays, and flag burning.

The same way other jerks have. The electorial college has a major glitch and you can play to manipulate it. However, I have to give credit due. Any president who sat in office for 6 months and had to deal with 911 would have a heavy burden to bear.
