You just described capitalism which is not a democracy.

A. The ideas of the rich always outweigh ideas of the poor because they have more power to make them known or suppress ideas they don't agree with.
B. Minorities still do not have equality and with things like Congress currently not renewing the Voting Rights Act.. they never will.
C. Exactly what our current government is doing with not recognizing the rights of gays to marry.
D. Capitalist economies throughtout history have ended in revolutions after the gap between the rich and poor always ends up so enormous thereby destroying the middle class = ends in revolt of the masses (Lenin)

B, and D to a certain extent.

In a direct democracy, everything is majority rule, with nothing in place to keep the government from trampling on the rights of the minorities. If the minorities are strong enough though, civil war can erupt.

I feel that the biggest problem from a direct democracy would be E. The public voting on issues would make uneducated and emotional decisions without considering the outcomes due to the lack of intelligent debate.

i trust strongly that "C" is therefore of democracy. The equality human beings talk each and every of the time are bent in the direction of a privledged few, specially those with economic potential chiefly something else. do not accept as true with "D", and agree mildly with "A". Minorites do get a particular degree of interest, yet rights, nicely that's complicated to make certain. So "B" would not look logical.

All 4, but the most likely one is C. Cliques form, and those that can get their pet projects voted on often brush aside the rights of those on the outside.
