The USA and the other countries that are there as well should have never been there in the first place. The American people were and have been lied to so much about the goings on over there it is pathetic. Thousands of good young men and women have been killed or maimed for life because of the ego of pres. Bush.

If you and anyone else would like to see a real eye opener please go to this site. It does take some time to load but watch the video of about 40 minutes. It tells more about 911 and what has transpired since than anything I have seen or heard. the second site is just as informative.

I feel what ever the reason that brought us there now that we are there we need to finish what we started. The American People do not run. We say we are the most powerful Country so now we need to show them not just with Guns & ammo but with the American way by helpping them get to there feet getting their Gov. up and running as well as their Millitary so they can do the Jobs that the American Millitary is doing. It would be a very bad thing for America if we cut & run now as Iran would step in and take over and we know how much Iran Loves us and others in the world. We need to help stablelize the Country then start the pull back. It would be great if we could leave now with out anymore Americans lossing their lives.
It is a sad thing that these people have been fighting over there over how knows what and now we are there. It would be a great thing if America brought all our Millitary people around the world and bring them home to America to help with all our needs like the Borders and all the Natural Desasters happning here and let the rest of the world fight their own battles without American lives.

Above responders, the question was not "should we be there"; it was "should we leave"... pay attention.

At some point, we will withdraw our troops. However, immediate withdrawl would likely lead to the internal collapse of Iraq. If this happens, all who have given the ultimate sacrifice will have done so IN VAIN. This CANNOT be allowed to happen in any circumstance!

Failure is not an option - be suspicious of ANY politician who thinks it is. Only when the mission in Iraq is complete can we even begin to think of bringing them all home. To do otherwise would be the ultimate disservice to all the brave men and women serving there.

Pray for our troops.

We had no business being in Iraq in the first place. Bush illegally and unconstitutionally invaded this sovereign nation for only two reasons: 1) he wanted to 'get even' with Hussein for humiliating his daddy during Desert Storm; and 2) Big Dick Cheney wants all that OIL swimming underneath Iraq's sand so he and his Halliburton buddies can get richer and richer and richer. Cheny will NOT ALLOW ANY TROOP WITHDRAWALS until he has a rock-solid, iron-clad arrangement in place to steal all of that OIL (in collusion with the 'puppet' government he helped to install).
Yes, we should leave iraq, but that won't happen as long as the U.S.A. is so dependent on OIL. -RKO-

We are there, now it is not a question of why or how, or should we. It is how can we get out properly.

Certainly not like we did in Nam, we let those poor people in a bad way.

We have been doing a great job, alot of hosptials and schools open now, people getting utilities now, more people have running water and more

But we do need to work out a plan to let thier military take back over and move out.

I think We should leave but I don't see it in the near future. It is sad to see more and more of our soliders die in conflicts, but they did swear an oath. Hopefully in the long run things will get better.

Even as a (mostly) conservative republican, yes, I think we should leave. Bush declared a war; he declared it was over. If the war is over, soldiers don't have buisness there. Shouldn't we have been trying to find Osama? He is theone who killed 3,000 innocent Americans.

I do not believe we should leave until we are sure that no crazy guy is gonna come in and undo all our hard work. We do not want another Sept. 11th.
