China will likely become the single most powerful nation on Earth by then. However, I forsee a world where China, the United States and the European Union, and Japan form a roughly equal trio of economic superpowers. India will be a smaller but still formidable economic force, as they will be the world's largest nation then.
China, however, could become an extremely wealthy and well-respected nation if they convert to democracy and police their human rights issues. Think of China with a similar system to the United States. Instead of 300 million people living in freedom, over 1 billion people free do determine their own lives as they see fit.
It's an amazing thought, actually.

From what I see so far is that China is very dis-organized. For example If I were Chinese, and my family was really rich, I could be a mayor of a city from having my family buying my way in depending on the province and city that your in. Yes China is rapidly growing because of China's huge population, but being very dis organized may never get them to the top but close to it. When someone is in power if a town, city, province, they are like dictators and lots are powerhungry. Even police officers or big Gov officials are like dictators some times and its bad to have too much power, because most of them are retarts that got bribed in by there rich *** parents. Its like having a 5 yro driving a car.... But other than that China is a great country, and the people are very freindly and hard working. The only reason why poeple would hate China is out of jelousy.

China will be the most powerful nation both economically and militarily in less than 50 years. I don't think everybody will hate China. Throughout the history, China has not attack other nations and annex them. China has been the superpower of the world for about a thousand years and it did not attack any foreign country. It knows that controlling a large area will hurt its economy drammatically and it cannot control such a large area. That's the mistake Genghis Khan made, ruling a large area, when riots occur, it cannot stop them.

Poeple can't hate someone or something with out trying it first. I don't hate you lot across the pond, what we dilike is the attitude. We are better, bigger, richer, etc then you (the rest of the world) also during the war in europe 1939- 1945 the US sat back and waited until the japs brought you in. Kewait was the same, if it was not for the oil I really do not think the US would have helped out. So try going abroad and seeing the countrys for what thay are without saying It's better etc in the states and when China does become the worlds superpower (god help us) we can all pull together as one. When this will happen who knows but the middle east is what we need to try to sort out first.

China will very likely be at least equal to a much, much weaker USA in much less than 95 years, probably 20 to 30.
I doubt that everybody will hate China since China does not live according to the doctrine of superiority over others (as the US does), but harmony with others. However, out of spite or fear the US might start a war with China to prevent its further rise.

I dont think so. China still has a lot of catching up to do, and America will try every way possible to contain China. You see -- America wants to be the top dog the ONLY superpower.
Besides, I think all the talk you hear about China one day overtaking America is just propaganda, because America needs a new enemy after the fall of the Soviet Union, and a reason to but her nose into Asia's affairs.....

If the United States does not dramatically alter its current course, it will decline and fall before the middle of the century.
If China is around to fill the vacuum, they could become the next Superpower. My guess is the European Union will have the power to prevent that and that a sort of equilibrium will occur between the three regional superpowers. Let's call them Eurasia, East Asia and Oceania..... (just seeing if you're paying attention).
P.S. What makes you think the rest of the world doesn't hate the Chinese government NOW?

It won't take that long. I think by the end of the decade we will see China take on its first major solo peacekeeping mission. It very well may pass China by the end of the Century. Our 'reign' has only lasted about 65 years so far and doesn't look to go much beyond that.

The Iraq war was the beginning of the end for the US in international terms. This will be China's century. Within twenty years or so, things should be very different.

I think China will. China was even till 1800 or something the most powerful nation of the world and now it's returning to that first place.
Hate no, but I think we will be jealous.
