Isn't it fortunate and surprising that there Al Queda is still calm after 9/11? What could be the possible reasons of this? Why is there no second terrorist attack on US soil?

Just maybe they made the point that they could do it if they want to. Or the reaction that they received was not what they expected, and realize it's not a good idea to mess with us on our own soil? Either way, don't complain. It is very fortunate. Now if someone could come up with a solution that isn't violent for terrorist attacks in the rest of the world, all would be well.

Terrorists don't operate according to your timetable. Their objective is to strike and weaken, then wait and wait and wait, then strike again. Right now, everybody is expecting an attack, but 9/11 was totally unexpected. They'll wait until no one is expecting an attack, then maybe strike again. On the other hand, some people think that 9/11 was caused by the Israelis or the US government itself, and if so such an attack can only be done once in a generation.

There hasn't been terrorist attacks b/c the U.S. citizens have been trained to watch more news coverage and keep an eye on the Al Quada Jihadists both abroad and stories here in the U.S. as well like Florida's bust a few weeks ago.

I think the way to prevent attacks is that people need to know who their neighbors are and take the time to know what they do and what their past has been. Plus if you get in good with a neighbor who might be a potential Jihadist against the U.S., you might be spared when it comes to an attack. Kind of like the bully at school who you become semi-friends with and when it comes to picking on someone, they pick on everyone else first.

There have been many plots that have been foiled. Too bad for Al Qaeda. What a bunch of cowards. We're on our toes now; they can't get here as easily and so forth. They're not very bright to begin with; Zarqawi couldn't even operate a machine gun!lol Talk about a wuss. Yeah, 911 changed my life forever; for the better. That day made America even closer. Their countries are all divided; I think they're jealous. May God Bless America, and Happy Independence day!!!!:) (no offense to the good people of those countries; just the COWARDLY al qaeda. Just to clarify) There are really great people/civilians in Iraq, Iran, Nigeria, Somalia, North Korea etc. I'm just referring to the terrorists. God Bless.

You think A plane and jet fuel could have made two skyscrapers fall in a precision drop in downtown new york? It was a setup!!! Do some digging and you can see how it wasn't a terror attack. The US is intentionally doing things to keep the world at war. Why??? Because War is the best business and look...it got Bush re-elected didn't it. I don't think of myself as a conspiracy kind of guy nor am I unpatriotic. In fact I am a soldier and have been to Iraq. I am just saying the obvious. It was a setup and people are blinded my patriotism to question the government.

It hasn't been all that quiet in the terrorist front. It's just that they weren't as big as the 9/11. But more importantly, a lot of intelligence work is working and the US Defense Dpt's are doing their job, and I'm told that there are many potentially huge disasters that could be thwarted before they materialized. So, we do have the government to thank for that.

Because our intelligence agencies work hard day and night to make sure we know where these people are and what they're planning. But be aware that al- queada has support from many countries and has operatives in even more, we may be hit at anytime, don't get lured into a false sense of security, it is easier to attack this country unfortunately than a lot of people like to believe. You will hear this from people who know a whole lot, just because the enemy has'nt attacked us, does not mean they are unable to attack us.

They're just biding their time, letting George Bush spend trillions of dollars on an illegal and unconstitutional war in Iraq and billions more on a phony Homeland Security organization that's nothing more than pathetic American joke.

Watch for Bush to manipulate a "terrorist attack" right before the next election so he can declare martial law and continue to play President. -RKO-

I have read that more than several have been interceded and stopped, but I am not sure if this is true or just government propaganda. I think I'm reading between the lines what you are insinuating, but perhaps we've just been lucky to this point? I really wouldn't turn my back on them. And yet, will the rumblings of higher terror alerts, foiled attempts, etc., be heard again right before the next big elections? Gee...wouldn't surprise me, sadly. I hate to be so cynical, but I'd hate to be so manipulated by our G.D. government and swallow it all hook, line, and sinker, too. :-(

they have been busy attacking great britan and france and maybe asia i havent really been keeping up in the news but the main reason i think they haven't attacked here again is because they know we are on gaurd, for all we know they have tried and just failed because we caught them before they could finish it. The news reports what it wants you know, unless someone pays them alot of money not too, or pays them a good deal of money to tell a fake story.
