No. Republicans are not on a crusade to spread Christianity throughout the entire world.
Conservative Fundamentalist Christians are on a crusade to spread Christianity all throughout the world, but not all Conservative Fundamentalist Christians are Republican. And not all Conservative Fundamentalist Christians are Democrat, either.
Some Conservative Republicans are Muslim, some are Jewish, some are atheist.
Some liberal Democrats are Fundamentalist Christians. Like Bill Clinton. There are a lot of Republicans who are pro-choice. There are a lot of liberal democrats who are pro-life because they regard abortion as genocide. Those liberal Democrats also do not believe in the death penalty.
There are a lot of people who do not want to give amnesty to illegal aliens. Some are Conservative Republicans and some are Liberal Democrats.
You cannot win an argument that Conservative Christians are united on a political agenda, because they aren't. They are as ununified as the Democrats are. And Liberal Republicans are not united with Liberal Democrats on this issue, either.
If you live on the West Coast or the New England states, you are going to be more liberal than someone in the South or Midwest.
It depends on where you live what your political preference is.

Wow I bet you did not think of all those ORIGINAL labelings on your own.
Liberals preach: to be fair not judge etc....but they label more than anyone. That is why I think you ask this. I am not blamming you but look at me.
Well I am Republ;ican, not a conservative, support gay marriage for my own selfish economic reasons, could give a rat's *** about the two faced Christians. I am against Abortion (not to be illegal) just because I cherish human life. Do not confuse Republicans with the Religious Right
Then Again I can see how you do....Since the Religious Right has overtaken the Party, one rooted in freedom of the Individual.
I must thank you and all the other Republican bashers here, maybe I do need to find a new party, one that can be proud of what it stands for without kissing the asses of the Billy grahams of the world.

This is a very hypocritical question. Republican is a political party and does not have the wherewithall to spread Christianity. Christianity is spiritual and has nothing to do with politics. However, a Christian can be a Republican or Democrat in his or her political views. Apparently, you are anti-Republican and anti_Christian. Why not be up front and just say so? For your information I am a TRUE Democrat. My party has been hijacked by the left wing, far out, fall off the edge radicals.True Democrats are the champions of the working people, defenders of life, the true patiots of this great country who fought the wars and believe strongly that people should obey laws.

I am a republican and Christian and I can say for myself, that I am not on a crusade nor have I heard of one. I would just like the left to let me alone and have my religious beliefs and not have to hide behind closed doors. I don't care if people are gay, just don't push it in the face of my children and flaunt it around. You can be openly gay but not be obnoxious about it. I live in Arizona and our area is negatively impacted by illegal immigrants. I don't want them to have amnesty. It sends the totally wrong message. I don't have any problem with people coming here through legal methods and processes. There are rules and consequences...all I ask is that people live by that. I give money to help people in poor areas, I support local homelessness and feed the hungry. Being down on your luck isn't the same as being a lazy ***. All of those jobs that they say the Mexicans "need" to do for us, many could be done by Americans that are looking for a free ride. If I were President, I'd reform welfare and make it so anyone that wants a hand out has to put their hand to some kind of work. No more sitting around being a total slacker. There are a few people that just flat out need help and many of them can't get it for the low-lives that rob them of it. I know plenty of them personally so I can justifiably call them that. I don't agree with corporate welfare either...they make me sick.

No, the Republicans are only using christians to get votes, and the radical right wing evangelicals are using the Republicans for political power and to push their narrow minded agenda in congress.
lucky2balive....
I'm liberal, and I'll answer your list:
Things That Make Liberals Feel Uncomfortable.
Men who open doors for women.... I do it all the time.
Women who intend to get married and have children....I married one.
Women who where dresses, especially pink ones....I like looking at women in pink dresses.
SUV’s..... It's a shame the driver doesn't give a crap about the envirornment, but if they like paying 80 dollars to fill up a vehicle they don't really need, fine by me.
Mentioning race in any context.... got no problem with that until someone starts saying how superior their race is.
Ann Coulter....fake conservative wind bag who says wacky crazy things in order to sell books. Even she can't really believe the drivel she spews.
Country Music.... Just bought the new Johnny Cash CD. Very nice, especially the Hank Williams train song.
Mentioning Religion in any context....again, got no problem with religion till someone starts saying their beliefs are suprerior to mine, or starts to ram it down my throat.
People who use the word “sin” and not “f***”..... unlike the President and Vice President who have no problem with the "f" word.....even on the floor of the senate.
Men who where cowboy hats and/or boots....I live in Dallas, have both.
Carl Rove....(it's Karl, not Carl). Chief operator of the Republican slime machine. The guy who thought it was a good idea to call Max Clelland, a veteran who lost his extremities in Vietnam, someone who wouldn't defend his country.
Tax cuts.... Why not give them to everyone, not just the wealthiest 10%, and the rest of us get a token cut? By the way, where is the money comming from to pay for this neocon war?
Rush Limbaugh.....El Drugbo isn't worth my time. Lies and lies again to the sheep who listen.
Personal Accountability.....I won't back down from my views, or my beliefs. If it turns out I'm wrong, I won't run for cover under the shelter of "I was given faulty intellegence." or "It's all Clinton's fault anyway."
The 2nd Amendment....You have the right to own firearms. Why do you need an AK-47 though?
George W. Bush.....Puppet chimp on Cheney and big oil's leash.
Nope, don't feel uncomfortable at all!

type of three. Christianity became taken on by the Roman Empire and the Franks even as they were efficient contained in the third and 4th centuries and this spread throughout Europe. until eventually the 15th century, they were matched by the Ottoman Empire which had Islamic administration over a lot of Europe, Asia and Africa even as Christianity became constrained to Europe. even as Spain took Granada in 1492 Christianity took over Europe and were no longer accepting of Jews or Muslims as Muslims had tolerated both between the others. Then Europe went and colonised all over the world taking Christianity with it. because Industrialisation began in Europe and then spread to usa of america, the Christian West became very efficient in evaluation to Muslim, Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist East.

The Republican are not trying to spread Christianity...the heavyweight Republicans in Washington could care less about whether or not you go to Hell when you die. And nothing they do is in Jesus name! This is all tied to the FOX News network and an evil man named Rupert Murdoch who invented FOX. Using the Fox news network the Republicans have aligned themselves with the Christian base in the USA as a means to keep the Republicans in the White house...It is an ingenius powerplay and pure propaganda...but your salvation is the last thing on their mind...they want your VOTE...and only your VOTE!

Seriously, read your question and see how hypocritcal you are. Christians are expected to love their neighbors...but women are not expected to love the life inside their bodies? Republicans and Christians are not anti-gay. It is the changing of the traditional meaning of marriage that is the argument...and the President himself wants to give amnesty to illegal immigrants...

No I don't think so. I think what most disturbs them is the liberal agenda. When you talk about hypocracy you might mention the anti war liberals that are pro abortion.
•attack American traditions, specifically Christian traditions and the traditional American family
•engage in "get-even" policies that support discrimination when it benefits historically disadvantaged groups
•punish and/or discourage achievement through taxation and fiscal policies
•use the rulings of the Judicial branch of the government as de facto law, irrevocable by anything short of Constitutional amendment or a future court ruling, thus bypassing the legislative process. Roe V. Wade is the most frequently cited example of "judicial activism". (48,000,000 million dead and counting)
•weaken the military strength and morale of the country by vilifying the practice of armed combat and hesitating to use force when it appears necessary
•use regulatory bodies over private enterprise to accomplish social goals and restrict competition (government, education, labor)
•establish secular and progressive social policy, including support for gay marriage, abortion, liberal drug policy, euthanasia and prostitution legalization.
•implement a foreign policy supporting the protection of human rights and multiculturalism through activism, social intervention and violence (social anarchism).
