We have a pet labrador and my husband is thinking of getting a pet corn snake.
But someone told me that dogs don't like snakes and foam at the mouth when they see a snake, is this true?

It's been nearly a week &a half since i last fed my pet indian sand boa! Im finding it very difficult 2 find a mouse/rat...its preferred food item. Im getting extremely worried about its health & also that it might die due 2 starvation! What am to do in such a grave situation. Do i force feed it with a fish as a temporary adjustment till the next time its hungry? or do i trust its ability 2 feed of its fat reserves...as snakes have been known to go without some lenghts of time! Whats the maximum time that i can take to find it some food? or do i immediately go in for a force feed? i copuld try a lzard(gecko) someone please let me know as soon as possible...I'll be extremely grateful to ou for ur help! Thanks in advance!

I have all three. The leopard gecko and russian tortoise are in a cage together. They have lived together since we got them when I was 4. They bond greatly. The kingsnake lives by herself. She is good by herself but I think she misses her tank buddies. She only lived with the gecko and turtle for a few hours. The reason they were seperated was because when we took the snake and gecko out of the cage at the same time they were face to face and the snake tried to attack the gecko. The snake is only a baby and the cages are the same size. They have different things in their cage but both have a heating pad and light. The snake has aspen bedding and the turtle and gecko have coconut bark, sand, and moss. Is this a suitable invironment for them to all live together? All of them healthy and clear of diseases.

It could be a turtle that is for water only, or one that would be in the water and on land. The fish aquarium is small, and I don't want one that will grow much. I'm not sure there is such a turtle. No one around here seems to know anyway.

One thing that stands out the most on my snake is these large holes on the upper jaw. It has three or four on each side.

I am not very familiar with Sulcata tortoises. I just adopted one, she is kind of big and I have noticed that after pooping she drags this pink long thing around. I am not sure if it is her butt, or a tail, or something that is actually suppossed to be inside of her. Today she had it out all day and was dragging it all over the backyard. I had to wash her because she collected all kinds of dirt that got stuck to it. So, what is that thing??? Is that part of her intestines??? Should I worry about this? Is this normal?

I am against the trading, selling or awarding reptile in carnivals and fairs in Tennessee. Does anyone know what the laws are concerning this matter? Where can I get copies of these rules for Lawrencenurg, or for Tennessee as a whole state?
