The skin of it looks like its shedding or its peeling off, im not talking about the shell, is it normal? I put the drops of the reptil taplets in there to make the water better.

I had three turtles, one will eat anything, and two wouldn't eat. I gave them tetrafauna reptomin pellets and put each in a feeding tank separately so i could know how much they eat each. One of them died a few days ago and I noticed it never ate... Any suggestions for other pelletes?

Wondering, Ive handle a corn snake, a boa, but all the times ive handled them some one just put in on my hand and just lookin for tips to handle a snake, so i dont get bitten and if a snake wraps around you arm or neck trying to constrict you they say you can flip the tail and bend it a bit and the snake will let go, is that true

I've had my iguana a couple of years and he hasn't grown much at all. We're feeding him lettuce and he's in a large screened cage. We even use a vitamin spray. Oh yeah, we thought he could use a little company so we bought a couple of small lizards and he ate them. That seemed to bulk him up a bit. Should we try crickets like we do with the chamelian?

What about in the whole world?
Can you die from all poisonous snake bites?
Just wondering cause i know i have rattlesnakes and copperheads where i live and i have a 4 yr old son who loves to play outside. I live in North Carolina any other kind of poisen snakes here?

I live in the S.C upstate and have found a grey and brown snake with a pattern on its back very simular to a copperheads, but is the wrong color and it has round eyes. I have looked all over in books and on the web and can not find out what kind it is, anyone with any ideas?
