I would like a very small species and fairly easy to maintain. I would also like it to be friendly. Are there any websites that will help me find the right species for me and help me purchase one/find a breeder?

One difference between frogs and toads is: frogs have . . .

1)green skin, always
2)purple eye
3)strong, long, webbed hind feet that are adapted for leaping and swimming
4)dry, warty skin and prefer dry climates

I know they enjoy the pellets that include dried shrimp and whatnot. But I want to give my (soon to be) baby RES some fun with the hunt. I've heard of feeder fish, but have also read of people feeding them baby frogs and guppies. I'm just wondering about what fishes to feed them, I think I have everything else in perspective.

My son really wants a box turtle we saw at a pet store and i'm thinking of getting her, he has an anole that he takes care of and earns the money for her food so I know he will take care of the turtle, but I don't know if a box turtle is good for his first turtle and i'm not sure about the proper care. We want her to live a long healthy happy life but i'm not sure how to provide it, and the pet store wasn't to informative either

My python also seemed to have a case of blister disease and I punctured them myself and put on some antibiotic ointment over it. however, by puncturing them i also removed some outer skin.

This weekend we went camping by a river. We where swimming and i saw a baby turtle. And i picked him up at showed my friends i had him since noon today ( sunday August 20) . And he was a snapper. I asked my mom when we got back if i could keep him and she said no because he might snap me. But he hasn't even hissed at me yet what do you think.

I just saw a video on youtube of a snake eating a goat and afterwards his middle was huge and he looked slow and I can't imagine how he would coil around a new threat. How do they survive after feeding, I figure they become a buffet table for any meat eaters after wards.

My veiled chameleon is having short seizures. It is active, just sometimes without apparently cause, it gets really stiff and gets really light in color and dark spotted, then it fall to the floor of the tank in fetal position, after a while it stands up and go normally again. Someone can tell me whats wrong with it?

I recently moved with my leopard gecko from the mountains to the coast. As you can imagine, it's naturally much more humid here on the coast. I know leopard geckos need a humid spot when shedding, but my gecko's tank is now always hovering at about 65% humidity even with a dehumidifier in the room. Is this unhealthy for my gecko, or this level of humidity harmless? Thank you
