I didn't know my green snake was in a family way when I bought her and this morning I found a baby green snake poking around in there! I had to go to work so didn't have time to seperate them, but was wondering if that was necessary. There's also 3 anoles in there. It's a pretty good sized vivarium and everyone is well fed. Do I have to seperate everybody?

I have 3 baby snapper turtles. 1 is brown w/ red stripe down back - 2 are twins w/ green and yellow shells. All 3 are green & yellow stiped heads. Found near lake. All info I can find are on common snappers or alligator snappers and they are neither.

Can I bring snakes on a plane?

I have owned two ball pythons for over 10years, my husband was transferred to France and I left my snakes to the care of my brother while we are getting installed. My brother can no longer take care of them and it looks like I am in France for many years to come.
Airlines do not allow you to ship a snake unless you are an approved carrier but they do not share the list of the approved carriers. I am also having trouble to find the correct paperwork necessary to be done. When I called the fish and wildlife service tehy said I needed a permit but for the permit I need to prove they were captive bred. When I bought them they told me they were captive bred but never got any paperwork proving this.
Does anyone have experience with transporting and paperwork for international travel for reptiles?
By the way I am attached to them so giving them to a shelter is not an option.
Thanks in advance for your help

i have a pet turtle, and everyday i put him on the patio to get some sun in a metal tub thing, with high sides, so there's no possible way he could've got out himself. i'm thinking that maybe a cat or dog got him, but wouldn't eat him, and then dropped him somewhere. where would the turtle want to go (where should i look??) i don't know if he would go to water, shade, sun, if he would run or stay still.

PLEASEEEEEEEE HELP! THIS IS SO IMPORTANT TO ME =[

My turtle ate my favorite large, fish :( and ever since, the aquarium has not looked clean. I have cleaned the filters over and again. It looks like there are a ton of little white things floating on the top of the water. Could the tank be infected by salmonella? If so, any way to effectively scrub it out without being at risk of getting sick? I've put off cleaning it out of a lack of an effective way to kill the bacteria if its there. But, the question still remains if I’m just a hypochondriac.

I got a baby diamondback terrapin from a friend. The turtle has not yet completely lost it's yoke sac ( only a tiny shriveled line) and is not eating. It is probably five days old, but I'm not sure. I treated it like a typical baby turtle and set it up with a 2 gallon tank of water, gravel, fake plants, ect., and am feeding it ReptiMin turtle food, but it does not seem interested. When should it lose it's yoke sac, and when should it began eating? Please help! I have never had a turtle that small! It is a bit smaller than a quarter.

I have a baby painted turtle. I was told to feed him once or every other day. He seems to be hungry all the time though. I just bought 2 feeder fish and he ate them in three days. (only because he was having a hard time caughting it) I feed him like 3 pellets in the morning and some brine shrimp at night. But if I don't give him that then he is trying to eat the rocks or is looking for food in the rocks. He seems to be healthy he has already shed and he is active. Any advise?
