a male leopard gecko has a bulge under the base of its tail, and it also has a series of pores in the shape of a v. a female does not have the bulge at the base of her tail. she does have the pores, but they are hard to see. if they're prominent it is a male, if not, it is a female.

gently lift the tail up and look at the vent (small slit) does it have 2 lumps one on either side? its a boy if it does if you see nothing but a slit no bumps or lumps its likely a girl

Look for some balls. If you see some, it's a boy!
