Sorry for your lost. If I were you I would check to see what the local laws are. Some cities or areas don't allow pets or other animals to be buried except in permitted sites. You might be best just giving him a funeral at a local dumpster and allow him to go to rat heaven.

I am really sorry that your rat dies but what I would do is put it in a shoe box and go and bury it..

I'm sorry for your loss. Your options are to either bury it yourself, take it to the vet to be cremated or find a pet crematorium that will deal with rats. I have one close by and take all my rats there. I also choose to have their ashes back.

bury it in your yard put stones around it and write on a big rock the name of your rat and date it died and go visit its grave frequently that helps with the grieving process.

Say some prayers and use gloves to put it in a box or plastic bag. Bury it in a garden or anywhere with soil.

uum. my hamsters always die on and off so if i were u i would put it in a box and burry it before a whole bunch of little maggets swarm the rat.
burry it underground :( sorry.
