Snakes are low maintenance as long as their basic needs are taken care of. Temps stay 85 over all, 90 on the warm side, about 80 cool side, depends on your bedding, they like to burrow so if you give it a lot of hides to run back in forth between. Pinkies are good for now but there is always the f/t frozen thawed or live pinkies. I give all my snakes live food including med rats to my ball python or pinkies to my own corn, Tremor. They don't really get "bored" because they are snakes. Regular handling will keep him tame so he won't bite, unless you give him a mouse and your hand still smells like mice, then you might get bit. Buy the way, how old/big it is? Sometimes you can feed them larger prey even though it might not eat it. Prey can be 1/3 BIGGER than the widest part of its body. Anything else just e-mail me, I'd be glad to help.

The different sized mice you are feeding are a complete meal, so don't worry on that account. As for being bored, snakes aren't the brightest bulbs in the light show & as long as the basic needs are met; food, temp, fresh water, dry substrate, climbing branches, good hiding spot on either end of the cage, secure lid, your snake will be comfortable & healthy. You could try & toss a Frisbee with your snake, but my snakes refuse to give it back, so it makes for a slow game! Enjoy your critter!!

Yes, snakes look very bored in their cages. They just sit there. I've had one of my corn snakes for 10 years now, almost exactly 10 years, in fact. My otehr one I've had for 7 Do not feed anything else to the snake. When it gets bigger, you might try a small hamster, but mice are really all it needs. Just make sure the snake ALWAYS has fresh water

There are some super solutions given. i could only prefer to characteristic a pair greater. determine you're taking an insect repellent like Off. while going to mattress determine the clothing you place directly to mattress are dry. do no longer bypass to mattress with some thing on which you have been wearing. The moisture interior the fabric will make you chilly at the same time as snoozing. additionally, any aromas which you are going to have picked up at the same time as around foodstuff would be interior the clothing and bears do like aromas. do no longer likely worry approximately bears however. If there are any bears around only cover a fish on your neighbor's camp sight and the bears will stay faraway from yours! only kidding!!! Take alongside stable trekking shoes that greater healthful properly. Take a minimum of two flashlights with you. go away one, like a pin easy, next on your snoozing bag so which you will locate it at night. have exciting at your camp out! i understand you will delight in it.
