"Micrelaps Muelleri" or Afrcan Burrowing snakes are rear-fanged and mildly venemous (something is 'poisonous' if you eat it and it is toxic to you. Something is 'venemous' if has a toxic bite or sting).

Generally they are not considered to be dangerous to humans, although people can always have unsually severe or allergic reactions to venom that is not generally considered to be dangerous.

Bites from some species of African Burrowing snakes can be more serious and deaths have occurred.
