my turtle is walking back and fourth by my door and when it gets to one corner it tries to climb up the wall and when it gets to the other corner it does the same thing.
I tried to put it in different places in my room and it still ran to that same corner and when I put her in her little home she tried to climb out. i think it is a she. i dont really know.

Are you sure you have you have an aquatic turtle? Look at Petsmart that have caresheets on line for different species. If it turns out that your turtle is an aquatic turtle make sure it has a product called the "Turtle Dock" so that if wants to get out of the water it can. If it is a land turtle dont put any water in the tank except for in the water dish. As for the climbing turtles and tortoises like to climb. I have a russian tortoise and he loves to climb! I put him on my carpet with a towel and he went to a corner and started to climb. Make sure what type of species and such that she/ he is. If it is a girl the tail will be smaller than that of a boy. Dont worry just find out what she/he is and take her to the vet.

This is a pretty common behavior in turtles, and we will probably never know why they choose these corners.

What you want to check for is any signs that they are trying to escape a tank that is too cool, too warm, or too dirty.

If this is a water turtle, she's looking for water!
