I know it's due to old age, but is there any thing that you can give them to prevent it? (We have a 10 yr. old rabbit, and her eyes are starting to cloud up.) Help?

It's a cute amphibian, that has stuffed cheeks, small limbs. Some people keep it as a pet, if not mistaken, it develops lungs when it comes out of water.

A few years ago a very cute kitty came into our yard. She seemed tame and let me pet her she even purred. All of a sudden she bit me that is when I noticed she had a huge wound on her tummy. Called the vet said to qurantee her, she then threw up & died. Took her to be tested for rabies thank goodness she didn't have it but I was so scared! I learned my lesson about petting strange animals.

I have heard it is ok for rabbits to eat guinea pig food but not the other way around. Besides giving them fresh fruits and veggies and lots of hay.

My dog loves to eat canned food..fast! Then withen 10 hours he ends up throwing it up..is there something wrong with him? My cat is nearly 18 years old and when it's her time to go i don't want to find her laying around the house not breathing..should i put her to sleep or wait a little longer? We've got a 30-year old Oak tree in our front yard that we can see through a picture window. Two resident squirrels check the tree daily for food.

My sons are putting out unsalted peanuts in the shell (on a bird feeder) and that seems to work, provided the birds don't nab them first. I tried a piece of chocolate and the squirrels didn't touch it. What's your advice?

for many years i was a sucker for the kibble companies, spending way too much money for crap. Tell me if a dog poops 35lbs of poo per 40lbs of food, how much is he really getting out of it.

when i bought my Great Danes i found out that its really hard to find a food in the breeders guildlines, so in search of something better, i found a rawfeeding site. The things on it were like a light bulb going off, and a big huge DUHH..

Even the best foods are processed.

food for thought... www.rawfed.com ,myths section and http://www.wysong.net/controversies/bluebuffalo.shtml

dogs get bad breath and teeth from kibble, diabeties from all the excess starches and sugars in kibble that they cant digest, cancer in dogs has increased since the kibbles came out along with many other issues.
Raw feeding doesnt solve all problems, but eliminating kibble is a darn good start..

ohh food for thought, the usda allows a pretty good level or the euthinasia drug to be present in dog foods,

my 2nd dog is a Golden Retriever puppy. The Lhasa won't allow the puppy to eat in the house so I have to feed him outside or else the Lhasa attacks him. I try to keep food outside for him so that when I let him out he can eat, but I keep seeing this cat eating his food! I am not a cat hater or anything, but I like to monitor how much my dog is eating and it is kind of hard to do with this cat coming around. Any suggestions? Me actually grabbing the cat and calling the city isn't an option because I am highly allergic. I have squirted it with a water bottle, but he still came back.
