You don't know nothing is wrong with her! She could eat less if kept in over heated conditions, but there are other problems she could be having. Overgrown teeth, parasites, and hairball impaction are a few. Call around as you need to find a vet who is experienced in rabbit medicine--not all vets are. Office visit fees can vary dramatically, so there's no way to tell you that. Again, call and ask. Your bunny should be getting fed a good grass hay like timothy as the main part of it's diet and as much as it wants to eat, along with a tiny bit of pellets each day. Some dark leafy greens can be offered as well, but limit the other vegies and fruits as treats only. Rabbits do better when kept in cool conditions--they are very prone to heat exhaustion.

i would say that would depend on what the vet you took it to charged for an office visit. mine charges 30$usd for a visit. is it inside or out? if its out in the heat, it may just not want to eat cuz its so hot. is it still drinking? or any other symptoms?
if need be you could probably find a low cost clinic or maybe even a wildlife rescue in your area. or a rabbit rescue org. they may be willing to let you bring it over and they look at it or give advice on the phone.

Well, we have 3 rabbits, and I know from experience that when the weather gets hotter, rabbits stop eating so much, especially during the day. Ours tend to eat more during the night, when it is cooler. One of our rabbits stopped eating completely for a couple of days, and it was suggested to me to change out his food and supplement with some vegs, and sure enough, he is eating again. I realize this did not answer your direct question, but thought maybe it would help.

Do not waste your money on a vet.

There is nothing wrong with her. This is what the vet would say for $40 USD.

It is too warm and she does not feel like eating. Offer her juicy treats: apple slices, a slice of corn on the cob, a carrot with the leafy top on it.

Buy a rabbit reference book so you can read what to expect.
Good luck.

Depending on whether a vet has his/her own office or works for a larger company, the cost of the visit will be different.
