Usually rabbits cannot be housed together, though there are exceptions. Most will eventually fight, so get another cage. :)

YES they can live together in the same cage.

However you can't just put them together and think they'll be just fine and dandy.

There is a process called BONDING and it cannot be rushed.

Here is some excellent information on rabbit bonding:

WHOA, don't do that. Here's some info:

Rabbits need to be spayed/neutered first before you introduce them. If your rabbit is spayed and you want to get her a buddy, bunny dating is the way to go! Rabbits are just like people, they like some other rabbit, don't like others, and fall in love with others. So, if you go buy a random rabbit and expect them to love each other, it's a little like roulette (not at all like getting a puppy for your dog). You might end up with a very hurt rabbit or two rabbits that have to live separately.

The best thing to do is to contact your local House Rabbit Chapter to adopt. This is a crazy good deal. For an adoption fee of usually 30-$45 you get:

-your rabbit to meet a bunch of rabbits to see who she likes and will get along with
-a spayed/neutered rabbit (a $200 value plus cost of rabbit)
-tons of advice info on housing, food, any issues that come up
-help through the sometimes difficult bonding process (you can't just throw them in together, the introduction has to be very careful or someone WILL get seriously hurt)
-a litter-trained rabbit (yay!)
-a rabbit who has been socialized already
-a rabbit who has been vet-checked

This is an excellent value.

Also, don't be fooled-- you can put two babies together, and they'll probably get along... until they grow up and you come home one day to the aftermath of a fight. They must be spayed/neutered and they must be bonded after they aren't babies anymore for you to know they really get along. Also, girls are actually much more territorial than boys, so you want to be especially careful.

BTW, I love Holland lops :) I have 2 year old boy (Jonathan) and two that we are in the process of bonding (Franklin and Lisette). Go to www.rabbit.org for more info and to find a chapter near where you live. If you live in Ohio, go to www.columbusrabbit.org for the Columbus chapter of the House Rabbit Society. They are EXCELLENT.

Good luck!

Ps. Get your girl spayed, by the time a girl is 2-3 years old, she has an 80% chance of getting uterine cancer if she hasn't been spayed. Go to a vet who sees rabbits regularly, rabbit surgery is enough different you want someone who does this every week. If you can't afford it, contact your local House Rabbit Chapter and ask about low-cost spay drives-- there are sometimes drives where you can get them spayed for $25-40. Feel free to email me if you have questions or can't find the info you need :)

PPS. If you want to get a bigger cage for your rabbit(s) but don't want to pay 300-400 for a fancy rabbit cage, here's what to do--- go to a flooring store and get a 4ft by 4ft remnant of pretty linoleum (10-25 dollars, maybe free), then go on eBay and get an 8 panel dog exercise pen (I recommend 3 ft tall or 4ft tall)-- my 4ft tall one was $50 including shipping. Then set up the pen on the linoleum scrap and you have a 4ft by 4ft cheap, easy to clean, spacious pen for your bunny girl :)

If you get them both as babies and introduce them together straight away then there shouldn't be any problems. But make sure to get them both spayed when they turn 6 months.

After .....around 3 months of age you should really separate bunnies even if they are boys or girls. They could hurt each other and it is not safe.
