I just find it a very fun thing to do. Do you consider it animal cruelty?

I would like to know more info on their habbits, how well do they listen and all that kinda stuff to know about my puppy. I have been looking on the internet but I have found nothing about this specific breed.
You know how dogs have certain habbits, reactions, independence, how well they train...stuff like that and maybe more..If you know of any links please let me know!!

How many people here have had a dog, or a pet that they have come completely attatched to and really love?
My dog doesn't have many years in him, and I love him to death. I love dogs, especially jack russells, but when he passes, I don't think I'd be able to get another one. I would feel like I'm betraying him.

Has anyone else experienced something similar?

Whenever people say "Aww", when they look at a picture of a baby cat or a cute looking rabbit, why do they say that? I mean, I think my cats are completely adorable, but I'm not even sure why. Any ideas?

I have a dwarf rabbit, and I've tried everything to get hime to play, but all he likes to do is chew everything. I would like to bond with him so he can get to trust me as a friend and playmate, but he doesn't seem to want to play. Any ideas? (I also want him to excersise as he is getting sort of fat).

It is a dwarf rabbit, so it's hard to find one that fits. He doesn't seem to mind, but he got out one time and I almost didn't get him back. Any advice on an escape-proof harness or how I can train him correctly to be walked?

My dog is a collie and a chow mixed. We recently came back from my grandmas house which is out in the country. She had fleas and ticks all over her and she is a black dog so she's very hot and scratching herself till she bleeds.

We decided to give her a flea bath when we got home and to shave her so she is clean,non-ichy, and cooled off for this summer. After we shaved her she was very sad, but wasn't as sad as she is now. Then we took her on a walk and we used a choke chain to help train her. My Dad was almost home with her when two bulldogs came up to her and started sniffing her. Then they started biting my dog. they were attacking her while my Dad was trying to keep them away and her chain got loose. Then she ran home as fast as she could and escaped the bulldogs.

Ever since then which has been 3 days she is rarely easting and drinking. She also rarely comes downstairs and is always sleeping upstairs.

what should I do, other then take her to a vet?

Hi, I Need to Know what I can do about my rabbit, Coca is a doe about 8 months, not fixed yet. I let her out for about 5 hours a day when I am home, she goes in her home when I tell her to, she is litter trained---

Ok My deal is when she comes out all she does is follows me around at my feet always if I sit and watch tv she plays with my feet or jumps up with me, she will do her run and jumps then come straight back to me, when I get up she goes every where I do, but she wont play with anything no toys, boxes, playhouses, rabit toys, baby toys, cat toys, ...I am worried that she is not getting enough exercise and mental stimulation, is something wrong with her? any ideas how to get her more active besides being at my feet all the time...Thanks for any help

Ok, i have a female rabbit called Trevor, however i don't quite know her breed(very large!).

She has been pulling underdown and fur from under her sweat gland and thighs to make nests, she is about 15 months old and i am sure this is nothing to worry about.

Also, her nose is a bit pink-red and looks a bit sore...she has an outdoor cage and access to grass which has been dewey at times, also her eyes have small bits of "sleep" around them but her eyes are very bright. she also hs a powerful odour coming from her sweat gland at certain times...She doesn't drink much but eats very well and is still her friendly old self running around her cage and coming up to be greeted and stroked, she also doesn't mind being held.

Am going to get some stick insects. I have a large meshed enclosure, but not sure what they'll need inside it or what they need to eat. Any offers from people who keep them?

Is it an urban legend that your pet (dog or cat) will eat your body if you die alone in your home? How long does it take them to start eating you?

1st question: I have 2 rats and they are both male. They have fleas and I can not get rid of them! I have tried and tried to get the fleas away but nothing works... they are sick. They are about 1 1/2 yrs old. Would I be able to give the rats to a pet store? I don't want them to be fed to a snake.
2nd question: My cat has been having bloody poop for a few weeks I think... I don't know what it is. I told my mom to take her to the vet and she gave the cat some worm stuff. I know the cats have worms but I asked my mom to take the cat to the vet. This bloody poop has gotten on my floor, walls, closet, bed, all over. I'm upset. She's a wild cat.. I found her and her littermates when they were kittens. The others[4 others] got killed one day and she was the only survivor. But yeah what do you think it is? And please don't tell me to take her to the vet cause
I am taking her asap.

I finally got my two new ferrets (2 years old, both males). Both are neutered, and I have done ALOT of research. However, I was hoping to find some personal experience about the ferret's natural odor.

Any other ferret tips are also highly appreciated!

From what I understand, if you bathe them too often, the smell is actually WORSE. However, is de-scenting going to make much of a change? Are there any other tried and true tricks for lessening the smell?

Thank you!

my rabbit started limping recently and before that she was perfectly fine. I don't know how to diagnose her. She has patches of no fur on her hind legs, not the bottom of her feet, where it looks like you can see bone/tendon. It looks raw too. I am very worried and can't seem to figure out what it is! any help would be great, thanks!

I have two mini lop bunnies, and I need some name advice! The female is a broken black & white, and the male is a broken light tan & white.
Maybe...Sunny and Cher? Or, Will and Grace? Or, Romeo and Juliet? Or Butterscotch and Chocolate? Help!
Thanx

Are you a cat person or a dog person? Why?
I'm a cat person because I like to think of myself as an individual original, and sometimes it seems cats have the same idea...not to mention my lucky # is 9 and cats supposedly have nine lives...
