my rabbit started limping recently and before that she was perfectly fine. I don't know how to diagnose her. She has patches of no fur on her hind legs, not the bottom of her feet, where it looks like you can see bone/tendon. It looks raw too. I am very worried and can't seem to figure out what it is! any help would be great, thanks!

It sounds like your rabbit has one of a couple things:

1.) A deficiency in its diet (normally either a lack of protein or fiber. This would cause it to eat and chew off its fur.

2.) The rabbit could have a parasite on its fur such as fur mites or fleas, etc. That could be causing it to chew it's fur.

3.) It could be having some sort of skin rash that could be causing he same thing.

It's really hard to say. I'd be interested to know what you are feeding your rabbit. It may be a good idea to give your rabbit a shot of Ivomec as a preventative for any fur parasites.

It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to take your rabbit to the vet. Normally, something like you described is one of the three things I mentioned.

If what I'm guessing is correct the fur underneath your rabbit should look short and uneven. Anwhere from about 1/16th of an inch long to about an 1/8th of an inch long where it has been chewing it or pretty much like someone did a really bad shaving job to the underside of your rabbit.

By the way, good job of mentioning that the pads on the feet weren't bare or raw, because otherwise it might be easy to think that it could be sore hocks.

out of your description my wager could be a stroke besides. i could call a vet and get an emergency appointment as quickly as a possibility. i'm undecided there is lots they are going to be waiting to do on your rabbit until you're prepared to spend a large type of money, yet a minimum of they might verify the rabbit out and inform you what they think of the situation is and no rely if this is fixable. i'm hoping each little thing would be ok which includes your rabbit, and that i'm sorry no rely if it is not.

It seems like she has been attacked by some other animal. You definitely need to take her to the vet, she sounds badly injured.

She's been attacked go to the vet. If it get's to bad they might have to put her to sleep. Oh maybe make her stop hopping so she won't hurt it more.
