Hang in there. It really stinks when you loose something you really care about and nobody seems to understand. Nothing anyone can say can take your hurt away, it is natural. It will work itself through.

Good luck and sorry for your loss.

I'm so sorry for your loss! I take it really hard too, when i was younger i would cry when my, oh, 3000 goldfish died overnight..

Don't rush into things. If you feel you want another hermit crab, think a little. I'm sure that you would take just as good care of him, but try not to hold it against him that he's not like your other hermit crab. But then, don't deny yourself another hermit crab!
Again, I'm sooo sorry! I'm sure he loved you as much as you loved him!

my sister just lost her tortoise and she is a mess.
You have to move on but you will do it on your own terms and in your own time.
Cry, laugh, love. That's all there is.
It sounds like your pet was lucky to have you. All we can do is the best with what we have.
Remember he has crossed the rainbow bridge and is frolicking happily on a beach somewhere, probably terrorizing all my cats who have passed and all having a good time.
There is no pain and no age over the bridge, and if we are lucky, we will cross it and meet them on the other side.

And on to the back of the Valkyrie he climbed, to be taken on winged horseback to the Summerland.

Live greatly, love often, laugh constantly.

Just remember all things will die.
this is part of life.
I'm sure you took very good care of "him" so it's just something that happens sometimes getting another one or something else may make you feel better to have something to take care of. i'm not saying replace it as nothing can actually take it's place but it can fillthe whole that you probably have right now.
everyone greives in deifferent way and for the most part it's just time each one will be different.
