Ok, i have a female rabbit called Trevor, however i don't quite know her breed(very large!).

She has been pulling underdown and fur from under her sweat gland and thighs to make nests, she is about 15 months old and i am sure this is nothing to worry about.

Also, her nose is a bit pink-red and looks a bit sore...she has an outdoor cage and access to grass which has been dewey at times, also her eyes have small bits of "sleep" around them but her eyes are very bright. she also hs a powerful odour coming from her sweat gland at certain times...She doesn't drink much but eats very well and is still her friendly old self running around her cage and coming up to be greeted and stroked, she also doesn't mind being held.

Your question is detailed yet kind of vague. The pulling fur sounds like she either is having a false pregnancy or was bred and is pulling fur for a litter.

Does she get fed grass or does the cage actually let her on the ground where she is hopping around on the grass?

The odor could be from having diahrrea from eating the grass. Normally diahrrea gives them a strong odor. Or the vents may need to be cleaned with a Q-tip and possibly some rubbing alcohol. Or she may have vent disease. If she is chewing her fur and eating it, not just pulling it out and making a nest, she might have fleas or fur mites. They could also kind of cause the eyes to tear up. But the eyes tearing could also be an eye infection. The fleas or fur mites may also explain the red nose. Or that could be just due to her being hot. It's hard to say without the description being a little more detailed. If you let your rabbit hop on the grass, it's just an invitation to give it fleas. They will look like tiny little black dots. You might need a magnifying glass to see them. I can see them without a magnifying glass but my dad can't when ours have gotten them. If she has fleas, she'll probably need a shot of Ivomec.

It sounds like you don't have anything serious affecting your rabbit, but it might be a good idea to take her to the vet for a check-up.

If the description was slightly more detailed I could help you better. Good luck!
